"I am a solo traveler and I was looking for a hotel not too far from the cathedral and that offered parking and breakfast. This hotel was a good option and it had a great location. 20 minutes walking to the catedral, next to the arena too and there is a train station near by and many restaurants around the area. The rooms are comfortable, almost luxurious….the breakfast buffet is amazing, they have a nice spa/sauna, and a reasonable (albeit just essentials) gym. The neighborhood is quiet, so no noise, and easy walking distance to parts of Cologne. Note: the front desk is rarely staffed, which is a key gap in case of emergency needs or scheduling changes."
