"My husband and I have stayed at the The Newport quite a few times over many years. We always have appreciated the location it’s in. We have noticed with our recent visit that the hotel is starting to shows it age and could use updating. Our TV seemed old and was not working well. Also the foyer light was out."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff was very helpful with recommendations and friendly. Check in and check out was extremely smooth. The only complaint we have is that it was a bit loud inside the hotel in the evening and early mornings. This had more to do with the guests allowing children to run through the hallways than it does the hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we get back to Middletown/Newport."

"Another wonderful stay! You cannot beat the location of this home, we absolutely love it. Having the ocean steps outside the back of the house and our own beach is priceless. My fiancé spends hours picking up sea glass on the private beach, and I enjoy a fire on the beach each year. We look forward to next year’s visit!"

"Everything very clean. Would have liked more than 1 TV. Fan (?) in hot water heater closet running was sometimes annoying - esp watching TV in LR. Loved the large area outside and all the seating, etc outside. Everything we needed was supplied - even more so. (tools, first aid, kitchen items) Very quiet neighborhood. Children happy for sports equipment provided."
