Extremely Disappointing

The location was good, the accommodation was sub standard- old, dirty, full of mould and in desperate need of a total renovation. The bathroom leaked so badly water was running into the bedroom. The TV didn’t work, the rusty fridge leaked and hadn’t been cleaned inside or out. The only real positive was the restaurant we visited. Benjamin offered a high standard of service and the food was very good. We would never go back and definitely not recommend staying there - it’s a health trap!

What a wonderful stay! It has been 20 years since me and my family's last holiday in Lanterna and we were happy to find out the place is still as beautiful, quiet and safe as we remember. Holidays were fantastic and we made the most of it when relaxing and recharging, what was our trip's main purpose. However, we were utterly disappointed to discover that condition of the apartments was very poor and far from the pictures advertised. Sadly, instead of receiving proper maintenance / upgrade over the years, the apartments were left to its own demise. Paint peeling of the wall and windows, windows and doors not shutting properly, dated bathroom and furniture.. So much money collected from visitors over the years, yet zero investment to the property maintenance - heartbreaking. Cleanliness could also be improved, finding a layer of dust on the bed frames or on the kitchen counter was not pleasant. We got over this surprise and enjoyed our stay regardless but I feel it's important to list the urgent need of renovation, so the overall experience is improved, as it is indeed long overdue.

Property in terrible condition. Falling apart. Pictures on Expedia do not reflect the actual condition of the condos. No internet in the room. TV was miniature, 30 years old. I was at this property 1980s an no improvements have been made since then. Beach and swimming is nice, employees are nice and cordial but that is about it...

Es war die schlimmste Erfahrung in unserem ganzen Leben. Wir hatten diese Unterkunft wegen der Nähe zum Lanterna 5 Sterne Camping Resort gebucht, aber damit hat es absolut nichts zutun. Wir waren in einer abgeranzten, verdreckten, alten, muffigen, verschimmelten und voller Tierchen und Käfer besetzten Absteige! Es waren die schlimmsten 7 Tage dort zu übernachten. Finger weg! Es ist eine Katastrophe. Wir werden nun alle rechtlichen Schritte gegen Expedia einleiten und vorgehen. Nichts ist wie beschrieben, alle Fotos nicht der Wahrheit entsprechend. Nachdem ich Fotos von Schimmel, Tieren aus dem Bett krabbeln und weiteres an Expedia geschickt habe, meinte die Dame sie könne nichts machen, es sei halt einfach nur dreckig!!!! Wir sind immernoch schockiert und werden alles dafür tun um andere zu warnen nicht mehr bei Expedia zu buchen und schon garnicht diese Unterkunft!!!

Läget och alla fina badplatser samt strandpromenaden och närheten till restauranger, var det som var bäst med det här stället. Men kan man stå ut med att rummen är väldigt slitna samt utan AC, kan jag rekommendera Lanterna just för bad och restaurangbesök.

Het personeel was vriendelijk, de omgeving prachtig en het strand was proper. Het enigste is wel dat de appartementen dringend een renovatie beurt nodig hebben. De badkamer was eigenlijk niks goed meer. De keuken is ook dringend aan vervanging nodig. En eventueel wel airco plaatsen. Het was super warm op de kamers.

Wir gehen schon seit Jahrzehnten in diese Anlage, es ist immer sehr sauber aber leider auch sehr alt. In der Parkanlage sind die Fußwege kaputt, rund um die Rezeption ist die Anlage sehr in die Jahre gekommen, teils verwahrlost und renovierungsbedürftig. Wifi auch nur bedingt vorhanden.

Interessante scoperta

Comodo e grande resort, parcheggio facile e comodo. Abbiamo soggiornato in appartamenti da 3 posti letto, non sono recenti ma sono puliti e hanno il necessario per tutto (cucina equipaggiata). Tantissime spiagge per tutti i gusti (ciottoli, scogli, sabbia..) con o senza ombrelloni e sdraio, mare pulitissimo, zero affollamenti. Ristoranti interni con proposte anche vegetariane e vegane, prezzi buoni. Possibilità di soggiornare anche nell’ hote o in appartamenti più grandi su più piani o ville.
