"We stayed for one night in a room with an ocean view. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless and in excellent condition. It was on the smaller side, which was fine for an overnight stay; if staying longer, I would recommend a larger room. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. There is plenty to explore in the immediate area, including the Officers Quarters Museum and the Dog Line. A little further down the road is Do Town. Within a half‑hour drive you’ll find so many interesting places, including the scenic route up to Boomer Bay and then Marion Bay. And don’t forget to stop for oysters at Blue Lagoon Oysters."

"Good size room and shower room. although the room was "showing it's age" it was very clean and the shower was good. Equipment includes microwave and toaster as well as kettle. Additional crockery/cutlery available on request from restaurant. I had an excellent meal in the restaurant and breakfast was available if required. The bar also serves traditional food. All staff were pleasant and efficient Parking outside of my room was adequate and secure The location adjacent to the Port Arthur historic site is unbelievable, my room actually overlooked the site, there is a private gate into the grounds (you need to buy an entrance ticket on line) To sum up, the buildings are quite old but kept extremely clean and tidy and any small failings are more than made up for by the location."

"This is a beautiful and clean cottage which is ideal for a family or couple wanting to enjoy a getaway or explore the region. Magnificent beach and water views. "Really nice quiet cabin. Room is large and well appointed. Washer and dryer were a bonus and after a whole day exploring Port Arthur the spa was a welcome relief which is a 10minute drive to port Arthur. Bed was a bit hard for my liking but that’s a personal thing as a like a soft bed."
