Far Below Expectations of a 4 star hotel

The hotel did not live up to my expectations....The room was cleaned daily but is so shabby and worn out.Balcony area was filthy.Curtains had holes in them. Carpet had stains. The bathroom tiles were cracked. No floor towels. No tea Coffee Maker. If you know Uzbekistan the bus stop is about 500m away. The Taxis organized by the hotel costs 04 times more than the Hitch-a-hike taxis on the road. (A custom I have seen only in Uzbekistan. The Buffet in the morning is a Joke. and the same thing for 6 days.one 500ml complementary bottle of water for 6 days. No Super Market close-by.this is a 2 star hotel. definitely not a 4star. Reception staff was helpful. The restaurant staff were also trying to be helpful but language was a barrier. No choice for TV Channels. TV reception also very poor

Room was fine. They're very particular about your having ALL your nights in Uzbekistan covered by registration slips. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the metro and in a park area, so if you're looking for proximity to any businesses, this isn't the place. But the hotel restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced.
