This was my first stay at the property. My partner, our one-year-old daughter, and I were placed in Room 013 on the ground floor for one night. Unfortunately, we noticed several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The shower pressure was very weak, there was visible dirt around the bathtub, and the jet function was unavailable for use. More concerning was the cleanliness of the bathroom, particularly the toilet area. It was not presented to the standard I would expect from a hotel, and we felt the need to flush and clean parts of it ourselves before using it. We also have video evidence showing the condition of the bathroom when we arrived. Aside from this, the rest of the room was reasonable for a one-night stay. The bed was comfortable and the basic amenities were available. However, cleanliness is especially important to us when travelling with a one-year-old child. Because of the bathroom condition and maintenance concerns, I would be hesitant to stay here again unless improvements are made to housekeeping and room inspections.

Property is situated great for the show we attended. However, we had some issues with the room. The main one was an insecure door that was eventually attended to. The room was a good size but starting to show its age - some lights not working, bathroom sink not holding water.

I liked it was close to Mt maunganui, but not impressed with the cleanliness of the carpet, bathrooms - i just about refused to shower at the state of the silicone, soap scum and the and the couch was munted! not a great stay to be honest.

Parking is extra and 4 levels below ground. On street parking is pay from 8am to 5pm weekdays. There is a building site beside the apartment which is noisy during the day. The windows in our unit looked into the new building Staff were good. Housekeeping a bit lax.

Not clean. Got put into a room that hadn't been cleaned properly. The toilet, vacuuming, coffee table, and kitchen were all dirty and there were no towels or handtowels. The manager apologised once and said she seen someone in there that day cleaning and that she had another room, but said it didnt have a sea view. (Which the current one didn't have either, im not sure any could now) but what was not communicated, was that the view as you opened the curtains, was of scaffolding and a new parking garage that were literally being build so close you could almost high five the workers. The new room also had dishes in the dishwasher and the things in the cupboard were filthy so we had to put them through the dishwasher ourselves. We then got locked out of our room on our second night when we came back to the hotel. The night manager sorted it, but said we were suppose to come and refresh our room key, which we have never done at any hotel. Pretty disappointed to have been here for our wedding anniversary. We tried to stay out all day because it was so blah to come back to. We have stayed here years ago and it was nice, not anymore! Never coming back. The photos of the dirty dishes were from the 2nd room. The kitchen sink, bathroom tap, and coffee table are from the first.

The room was spacious enough and very quiet. However when we arrived at 3pm, there were no towels, only a damp one in wardrobe. I had to request towels, and was supplied with 2 bath towels - we (2 of us) were to be there for 2 days! Disappointed too with the limited supply of coffee (3 satchets) milk (enough for only one day - I had to request more milk). Also, we assumed the room would be serviced while we were out on Saturday and were disappointed to find the wet towels were still there and no fresh ones supplied. Again I had to request towels! The TV was also a pain - possibly my fault but I could only get TVNZ1. Did not like the shower over bath - difficult to get in and out of, and definitely in need of a good scrub! Suggestions/recommendations: 1. Put a laminated list of instructions on the wall for both tv and heat pump operations. 2. Advise customer at checkin if servicing the room can be expected/not expected when stay is for at least 2 nights. If not to be serviced, supply enough towels, etc, when room is prepared prior to checkin. 3. Be more generous with coffee, milk, etc. 4. Upgrade bathroom.

Bathroom was very outdated and posed some safety concerns. The bathtub didn’t appear to be properly cleaned, as there were a few hairs left inside and dust residue around the rim (possibly from the cleaning cloth), the step into the bath was also very high, with no handrails to assist getting in & out. The room had a damp smell, although this may have been because the windows were left open before I checked in late that evening. The undercover car park was extremely narrow, making it difficult to manoeuvre, so I ended up parking on the street instead. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel is one of the more tired Quest Hotels, the carpets and decor are dated. The frying pan was small, the light in the range hood was out and the coffee tray was not refilled over the 3 days I stayed. The shower temp fluctuates which is borderline dangerous and the washing machine's dryer function was not functioning. Construction is happening right next door so expect noise from 7am onwards. With that said the rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff and friendly and helpful.

It was good. Appreciated the house keeper, he was approachable and kind. However if you decide to book, be aware that parking doesnt come with booking, you would spend a few hours or two looking for car parking space which was a nuisance but everything else was okay.

Parking was good, but check in tried to charge extra for parking until i showed that booking said it was included. Fridge would freeze everything. View from our balcony was non existent as a building has been built right in front of it. this did however reduce road noise.
