"The breakfast was great. I enjoyed the salmon eggs Benedict and , a rarity, an excellent cup of tea. We did experience inadequate water temperature for bathing at night. A storm knocked out the elevators on the day of our departure so we were delayed because we did not want to carry our luggage down 11 floors. We were eventually rescued by staff who took us down in the service elevator. "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful; easy parking and close to sights we wanted to visit. The room was large, clean and lovely in spite of a direct view of the FBI offices :-) . The only improvements I'd suggest are to heat the swimming pool and to keep the bar open nightly (not just Monday - Thursday) as the hotel was full throughout the weekend and for tired tourists who don't feel like heading out in the evening, the cafe would be a nice relaxation space. "

"We checked in late in the evening, and the front desk staff was very helpful in recommending a delivery choice for dinner. Our room was wonderful. Breakfast was definitely the downfall of the trip, but the hospitality staff was amazing. "
