Sunset over the vineyard from the patio was stunning. Very enjoyable wine tasting at their tasting room. We were there on weekdays and had the pool to ourselves.

Stayed in a Vineyard Bungalow. Spacious room with a small fridge and very quiet. 2 water bottles and coffee to make. Comfortable king-size bed. Tub is large enough for 2 people. Shower is very large with a bench inside. Nice patio facing vineyards that is semi-private. Great wine tasting room. Really nice room for a couple to celebrate for example an anniversary. My only gripe is the smell right before entering the room; it smells like manure. Highly recommended and wouldn’t mind coming back myself.

Everything was excellent!!! Starting at the check in, Maya was so friendly and helpful. I love everything from Carter State Winery and Resort. We enjoy the pool and the Jacuzzi was so relaxing. I’ll be back . Thank you for everything.

Beautiful property with the winery. Tasting room was nice. Room was okay, dated, pull out couch bed had burns on it, dirty underneath, no soap in shower dispenser, ice machine out of order, said they were going to fix.but didn't. Could not get food service. The staff at check out was very nice, apologized and gave me a bottle of wine for our challenges.

Our stay was exactly what we wanted. Peaceful with a beautiful view of the vineyards. The resort is quiet and pool area was nice. The pool is in need of resurfacing but otherwise was great. I especially enjoyed the sunrise view with the hot air balloons in the early morning. Rooms were clean and spacious. The resort is only open for breakfast and lunch so be sure to plan for dinner at a nearby location. We will be back!
