"The Alt Hotel offered convenient access to Ottawa Airport for an early-morning flight. The room was clean and modern, but it had a few drawbacks. The bathroom sink was very shallow and could overflow easily. A stained-glass wall separated the shower from the sleeping area; it looked nice, but it filled the bedroom with light when the bathroom light was turned on (e.g., in the middle of the night). The bed was a bit too firm for my taste; more like what I would expect in a European hotel. Despite these drawbacks, I would stay there again if I had an early morning flight out of YOW."

"The Metcalfe Hotel was better than we imagined. The staff (from check-in desk to housekeeping to wait staff) were lovely and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure our pups also enjoyed their stay. So thankful to have a hotel that offers such care for their guests and their guests' dogs!"
