Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The windows could be opened to here the tide rolling in and the gulls. Very conveniently located to both the university and the old course for golf. Super friendly staff that took excellent care of us every day and night. Highly recommend to anyone visiting St. Andrews.

This place was truly lovely and unique. Well appointed and comfortable. The host met us in the lobby and warmly welcomed us. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, not quaint or Scottish, but nice. I am not sure if they used any insulation between rooms as we could hear the neighbors conversations quite well and the TV from about 4 rooms down.

Okay, so as long as you park within the parking space lines (for fire safety reasons) your stay at the Spindrift Guest House should be a great experience. The honesty bar in the lounge is extremely well-stocked. We did not partake, but the whisky selection according to my husband was excellent. The room is spacious and well-decorated.
