"For the most part this was a good hotel, our room was spotlessly clean, had an issue when we arrived with our first room, they were very accommodating and moved us to a new room (which I think was an upgrade). Was a decent stay with comfy beds etc, and decent amenities in the rooms. It does feel like it could do with a refurb though, looking tired in a few places. We didn’t use any of the restaurant facilities, but on the way out we were accused of racking up a bill in the restaurant. Which reception didn’t seem to believe was a mistake."

"Lovely accommodation in Mells, beautiful walks on the doorstep including the Mells River Walk. Talbot Inn is within walking distance as well as the village shop which is well stocked and popular. Comfy, quiet accommodation."

"It was a lovely stay for our family with all the sorrounding activities.The pools and the video area are very nice for the children. They liked it so much."

"We used the house for a belated Xmas family gathering. There were 11 of us. The house was very clean and very big. It had games, a pool table a hot tub and a barbecue. That entertained us so much we almost couldn't be bothered to go out sight seeing. In summer you would be able to sit out in the garden but this was January and rather rainy.The only glitch was the first two cars to arrive couldn't find the house. We used satnavs and Google maps. The main road was very busy. Once we had worked out it was between two Chinese restaurants and had black and white posts outside it we were fine.The teenagers were delighted to have a room with a double bed all to themselves. The kitchen, two living rooms and the barbeque hut were big enough to hold our whole family comfortably."
