"Two of the bed pillows smelled of wet dog or dirty socks. Other than that the room and bath were clean. Some of the staff were excellent The woman who checked us in was great the woman who took my keys at the end didn't seem to care when I said the pillows smelled of wet dog. I should have been able to get the rest easy rate because my husband was having a procedure at Dartmouth but when I called the hotel desk the week before I was told I couldn't get that. As a result I booked through Hotel.com"

"The staff here are all so genuinely kind and very welcoming! They all made it a point to engage their guests in conversation, something I find very impressive in this day and age. The hotel is in a great location, very convenient. Rooms were large and neat. I was just so impressed with how nice everyone was."

"I stay night and it was terrible there were so many insects there flying bee, mosquito and room wasn’t clean properly when I speak with staff they’re not helpful and manager not here everyone on different shifts was like that I can’t even bath because of flying bee in bathroom"

"Overall, the stay at Hotel Coolidge was a lot of fun -- truly a nice and historical hotel. Everything from the large stairway bannisters to the floor creeks to an actual key (!!) to get in the room! The building obviously takes so much to keep it up and running. Some of the amenities that others might desire didn't work well or weren't available (TV, breakfast on site, other up-to-date features), but those didn't affect us. There are many restaurants and bars in walking distance, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Thank you!"

"The room is not as clean as I expected. The first thing I did was cleaning the tile floor on the entry and bathroom, and noticeably the towel is black after the first wipe. The shower can have a little touch up to make it more presentable. I do understand the place is rated 8.4, so little things like this is rather expected. If they want to bump the rating up, need to pay attention to small things like this. Overall stay is fine. Bed is comfortable. Location is good, easy access to highway, and lots of food options in the area. Complimentary hot breakfast is nice too. Not many options, but good enough for a quick breakfast."
