"Excellent property! Clean, great location, wonderful and friendly staff. Property provided birthday packages that helped my mom feel extra special when we arrived to the room decorated and a handwritten note from the staff. Great touch! Does not have air conditioning (that the US is used to), only a fan and ability to open windows. Wasn’t an issue but something to think of if it’s in summer months and hot."

"We spent a very enjoyable 5 days at The Scotsman. It is ideally situated in the middle of everything Edinburgh has to offer. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. A special shout out to Alan and Theo for taking such good care of us. They were tested by our large family's copious questions and didn't blink. Their suggestions were spot on, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have had their guidance throughout our stay. We will definitely return to the Scotsman next time we are in Edinburgh."

"Everything is Nice in this hôtel Howecer the rooms are locales to an adjacent d’amour bar withloud people and music that goes on into the wee morning Hours . After there is cleaning of bottes and trash noises until 4 am at least for 3 nughts of our 4 nights stay the est plugs furnished dis nto entirely do the trick Unfortunate for this great place and Nice staff …."
