"The hotel was undergoing renovations and we were not aware of them when we booked. The renovations did not affect our stay. "

"It was a nice little cabin, cozy and clean as described. A nice, personalized sign greeted me adn there was a basket of snacks and plenty of coffee and tea. Some things like door to rear porch and smart locks were in need of repair, nothing major. The driveway is extremely steep and with black ice it was not accessible with my frontwheel drive van. "

"The mountain view of Sugar Mountain and the surrounding landscape was awesome. We got 5 inches of snow while we were there and had a great time sledding down the hill. We really enjoyed walking into town. We did so once to twice a day! The stairways are narrow and steep, so as long as you are in good shape, this isn't an issue. The property has plenty of room for everyone! "

"The staff was very nice. The room was very dated with heavily stained carpet, missing closet doors and broken drapes. This place will not be on my “visit” list for the next time. "

"The view from the property is hard to beat, and Nick was very responsive. The house was expansive and easily accommodated my children, their spouses, and our grandchildren. There were no toys for toddlers but we had brought our own so no big deal. The hot tub experienced some downtime due to the weather being extremely cold before our stay but Nick brought in a tech to fix it. The location is a short drive to both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain and the skiing was good early in the day (we had a warm spell)."
