"This is a beautiful, old-fashioned hotel, Victorian in style. There's a wrap around porch, a sitting area in the front, and we had our own private little balcony. They sell fudge at the desk, there's an espresso bar in the front, and there are fresh chocolate chip cookies every night. They serve a continental breakfast, which was plenty for us, with oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, and cereal, plus assorted juices and coffees. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful but small, not a lot of room for the luggage. There was a closet, but it was very close to the bed. No refrigerator or microwave like most modern hotels, but we did okay without. The television didn't seem to work very well, not very many channels. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the little balcony, but we did have trouble trying to charge our phones because the outlets wouldn't hold the plugs very well, plus there weren't many outlets at all. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our stay."
"I don’t write reviews often but Emily checked us in and made our stay special. Each day she greet us with a huge smile and make sure everything was spot on with our stay.
Big greetings too from George who went above and beyond to make our stay special. We travel often and truly appreciate moments with folks who make our travels extraordinary!!! "
"Wow wow wow! Absolutely amazing location and Breathtaking beach view from our balcony! Discount Shepler’s ferry tickets available at the front desk. Feeey xoooany comes to get you - just tell the front guest and they’ll come get you in a few minutes. Complementary s’mores every night! Hotel was very clean, but does need some updating. Inconvenient that the checkin/complementary breakfast buffet is in a separate building from where you stay. But it was fine. They offer golf cart rides if you are at a far building. Swingset on beach. Outside and inside pools. Great place for kids! Super happy the hotel room door doesn’t auto shut while you’re trying to load/unload stuff and just get in and out in general. Has outdoor hallways, kinda like a motel, but this is far from it. Definitely a resort!"
"We love this place, amazing views on the Lake, great restaurant, awesome breakfast, friendly staff, huge room. We can’t say enough great things about this place"
"This is a quiet, well kept property. Everything was in great working order, very clean. The bed was excellent. Very nice pool area. The staff was very professional and polite. I would absolutely stay here again."
