"Great Hotel right in the heart of Lincoln, very oldy worldly but with some modern touches, free car park on site was great and the staff were friendly. The food and drink were very good too. Would definitely recommend and will return at a later date!! 😊 "

"Site is unmanned so an email is sent just in advance of check-in. Email duly arrived, but the hyperlink for the site access code and room number was missing. Phoned the number given, confirmed my details to the lady who answered, then she asserted I hadn't paid -- promptly sent a link to an invoice headed Experia! Managed to resolve and gained access. At best, just not very good at handling customer data. At worst, deliberate malpractice. Won't be back, cannot trust them."

"Very conveniently located close to the main attractions, with ample parking available. The staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay, and the breakfast offering was excellent, with a good variety of both buffet and made-to-order options. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The room appeared to be in need of a rewire, and being situated above a wedding function meant there was noise late into the morning hours, with furniture being moved around for cleaning. The mattress was firmer than expected, which may not suit all guests. Additionally, on arrival, I felt the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Overall, a nice stay with some areas that require attention for improvement. "

"An ideal location near to the top of Steep Hill, close to many of Lincolns tourist attractions. An easy walk from the train station"

"Parking difficult to find and even after calling up it was automated and I ended up parking in a multistory. The hotel itself is very dated. I had stains on my floor and bugs in the room and the shower. Not only this but I was on the 4th floor and had a consistent banging from the elevators throughout the night and was constant. I woke up many times through the night due to this constant noise. Terrible stay and sleep. "

"No parking . Their own parking across the road was £10 per night. The breakfast let our stay down. The staff repeatedly got the orders wrong and the cooked breakfast was very poor quality. I don’t recommend the vegetarian breakfast. The lamps on the tables need removing as they are at eye level and you can’t see each other! "
