"Beautiful and clean property, plenty of space, and it fit what we wanted. We stayed Fri-Sun--if you're looking for a weekend at the beach, but sleeping in comfort (rather than roughing it), this was IT! Based on other reviews we were prepared and came with some citronella candles for the evening, rented beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach, expected some music till late and brought our own condiments for food. We were a party of 6, the young teenagers loved the bunk beds, and the 2 couples were very comfortable in their own bedrooms. We used the BBQ downstairs and enjoyed that space too. Live music Saturday evening at the beach bar just steps from the house. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you wish to cook -we did breakfast- just like others have mentioned, bring your own condiments/spices. There's a hose by the staircase to wash the sand off your feet before you go upstairs--it really helps keep everything clean. There were a few visitors on the porch (kitty, dogs), but we did not pay too much mind to them and they kept going. But, yes, keep the doors closed, as you don't want them nor mosquitoes inside. All in all, would recommend!"

"Everything about the place itself was great, and Rafael was a responsive and helpful host. The location was convenient, parking was right next to the house, and the cooler and beach towels provided were a really nice touch.My only hesitation is for solo travelers. The property is a gated community with several other rentals. When I arrived, there was an older man staying in one of the neighboring rentals. As I was getting my things out of the car, he came outside and stared at me for a long time. He didn’t say hi or acknowledge me—he just stared long enough that, as a woman traveling alone, I honestly felt scared and uncomfortable. Later, when I returned from getting food, he came outside, waved, and then sat on the hammock watching me without saying anything. Because of that, I didn’t feel comfortable using the hammock or spending much time outside.I also felt a little uneasy about the privacy of the shower window and the bedroom blinds, which stayed slightly open. I ended up putting pillows near the window for additional privacy.Aguadilla is very windy, so there were also constant knocking and moving sounds around the house, which can be a little unsettling when you’re staying alone. There was also a kitchen drawer that would slowly open on its own after I had c"
