"The host was amazing -- responsive and welcoming! The property had everything we could have wanted and was even more beautiful in person. It was immaculate and well appointed and there were extra nooks for games and people to find their own spaces. The views of the sunsets and sunrises were stunning! We were so thankful to be greeted with a decorated, lit Christmas tree and lights turned on around the house so we could settle in easily. This host thought of absolutely everything! My family thought this was the best home we've ever rented and we all hope to return. Don't miss this home!"

"We had a great New Years’s vacation at this place. Hands down the best part is the hot tub overlooking the sound - hot tub sunsets are a must! But the rest of the house was great too. Jamie was super responsive every time we had a question and that helped a lot. We did experience some WiFi issues - it was shotty most of the time but really only impacted us when we couldn’t watch a movie on TV. Our phones worked just fine. The house came equipped with everything we needed for staying in, cooking meals, and being comfortable. We will def be coming back! "

"This home has been beautifully renovated. It was lovely being able to see the ocean from all the windows. The owner was very easy to work with and upon finding out that our dog was afraid of the stairs inside the home and we had to take her home graciously refunded our pet deposit. Furniture was very comfortable as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for an oceanfront home in Duck, NC."

"We loved our stay. We wanted a quiet escape and though the accommodations are older and could use some updates we had everything we needed. What stood out most for us was the quietness and the close proximity to the beach and ocean- right out the back door. Thank you to Carley who filled us in on the amenities and is always available if something is needed "

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the home was great, right on the beach and the view of morning sunrises was spectacular. Great location very close to shopping in Duck and a quick drive to both Corolla and Kitty Hawk. Perfect size house for up to 3 couples. The house was very clean, well appointed (pots, pans, utencils, appliances) and recently updated/remodeled. The beds were super comfortable and clean. Great service from the Rental Company - a big shout out to Caiden, he was super professional and responsive. The only exception for cleanliness was the gas grill which did not appear to have been cleaned out since the beginning of summer and took quite a bit of our time to clean out both the drip pan and the grates. The gas tank was also almost empty which we had to notify the rental company we needed a new one and they quickly replaced. Having the gas grill under the carport was not optimal and I believe a fire hazard unless you roll it out every time you want to use it (which we did) but I am sure there are plenty of people that grill with it under the carport. There is a very large, uncovered/underutilized deck area in the rear area of the house just off the back porch/kitchen. It would be fabulous to have a grill there in order to not have to go downstairs and roll out the grill from under the carport. This area would also be an AWESOME area for a Hot Tub which would take this rental to another level - Great outdoor space that has so much potential to draw in more rentals. Lastly, the washer and dryer are located on the carport level in a storage room. It would have been great to have this on the main living area of the home. Overall a nice home but with some of the suggestions mentioned it would take it from a 4 to a 5 rating,"
