"An absolutely beautiful setting. So serene. From the moment we stepped out of the car on arrival the staff were very attentive and helpful, but never in your face. Loved the grazing lunch provided and the in-house meals were great quality. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had booked for 3. We would definitely go back."

"The house was cold but after using the fire, it warmed up quickly and retained the warmth. The property had not been cleaned well and some supplies for the fire were unavailable. Previous guests had used all matches and fire starters but after talking to the owner, this was sorted out very quickly and the owners very very attentive to other issues as they arose. A deep clean was scheduled on our leaving the property, and the owner allowed us to check out late afternoon as a good will gesture. We would happily stay again. "
