"We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin had a lovely rustic charm which is exactly what we were looking for. It was roomy and clean. We enjoyed the easy access to the nearby lake and as well as use of the canoe and water toys. The surroundings are lovely with a beautiful dense forest for hiking. The host was very responsive and prompt with our small fireplace request. A wonderful stay overall and we would highly recommend to anyone!"

"It was the fifth cottage rental for our family. It’s not easy to find a place for such a large group - we need at least five bedrooms. Nick’s place checked all the boxes and had a beautiful setting as a bonus. His cottage also has a great layout, well organized kitchen for family meals, many activities for any kind of weather and the comfiest beds. Kids already want to go back there next year!It’s a perfect place for a family vacation. Thank you, Nick, for hosting us "
Muskoka Waterfront Cottage on Three Mile Lake

"We enjoyed our stay here on Three-Mile Lake, nicely situated for a few days excursions that are between 30 to 45 mins away. The cottage was nice, the two arger bedrooms are almost the size of the king-size beds with little to no room to get around. There's a small beach, dock and fire pit we didn't use. It wasn't well maintained and there were cigarette butts in it on our arrival. Bees - lots of bees. Bring repellant. Between two humans and our dog, we were stung over a dozen times. No wonder the welcome book in the cottage states no refunds due to natural species. SUGGESTIONS & BASIC NECESSITIES:Patio Umbrella would be nice.A couple of loungers. Only Muskoka chairs are in site.Flashlight. And you do need one.Beach towels so guests don't need to bring their own. We had to bring. For the price, should be part of the rental.No spatula in kitchen.Guest rain umbrellas would be nice.PRECAUTIONS ON WHERE TO AVOID DUE TO BEE STINGS FROM UNDERGROUND NESTS.Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap.Kleenex. Hair dryer.Install access ladder on dock for getting in and out of the lake. Gates on the deck access points/entrances to keep children & pets safe. Blinds on the windows so people have the option of privacy. Overall 7.5/10. Thanks for a great week away from city. We hope this review is seen as positive, with a touch of Benedryl."

"Amazing place for a relaxing getaway! The hot tub, water activities, and swimming in the middle of the lake were so much fun. There were plenty of outdoor seating areas, a fireplace, fire pit, BBQ, and a beautiful front yard to enjoy. The room was cozy and perfect for 5 people, and everything we needed was thoughtfully stocked, including BBQ supplies, ketchup, sauces, and more. Overall, a great place for families or friends, and I would definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
