We loved the look of the property. Our room was lovely with the high ceilings and the decor. We enjoyed having a view of Lake Superior and the harbour. Breakfast was good, breakfast staff very quick to replenish and clean the food stations. Hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants.

The Courthouse is a beautiful older building that has been restored into a lovely boutique hotel. The staff are courteous and efficient. We enjoyed the antique furniture and reflections of the past law court use of the building. The bed is very comfortable. We will stay again.

The hotel is unique, in very good location walking distance to restaurants and the room we stayed(multiple beds) was spacious with high ceilings plus we had a pretty view of Lake Superior. The breakfast was great too and thanks to Jason the food was always replenished.

It’s an amazing historic building that has been renovated into beautiful and unique rooms which all the amenities you could want and a varied and hot breakfast. The staff is very helpful and polite. We stay there everytime we are in Thunder Bay which is several times a year. My only complaint is that I wish they would reduce their pet fee down from the very expensive $40.00 per night.
