"My husband and I had a lovely stay. A family run B and B. Sally and Michael were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was fab, good products and excellent service. A short walk into Keswick too. We will definitely be back. "

"Very friendly staff; very welcoming at check in and were helpful when we asked to leave our cases/bags after check out. The room was clean (3rd floor) and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a tad dated but obviously due to the age of the hotel. We stayed mid week so no problems with noise etc. The hotel is ideally sited within 2 min walk from the station. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Fabulous room on the 2nd floor, clena, very comfortable, everything you would need from a pint of milk to crumpets and butter, a wonderful bed (slept so well) shower and bath with the lovely handwash, shower gel, shampoo etc., I can't wait to stay again, it's very handy for the town centre and the Penny Blue served us wonderful meals"

"As always the room and linens where spotless. The room, spotless, the staff absolutely lovely. Always so welcoming and friendly. The only surprise was that this year i had to pay £5 for parking! A little disappointing seeing as the car park is within the hotel grounds?"
