This house was great! Had everything you needed, and the owner even had a Christmas tree with lights set up for us. Very nice touch. The house has many windows for the views of the water.
We met family and found the location incredible. Quiet, peaceful and a great view from the enormous deck. Owner was easy to communicate with. We will go back again.
We went for a sibling only getaway! It was awesome! We fished, cooked, played cards and went out exploring....the house was stocked perfectly and clean as a pin! Would love to do thos every year at the same place
We enjoyed our stay very much. We spend most of our time out on the deck relaxing. It is very peaceful here. We didn’t have any luck fishing, Maybe next time. The owners are so accommodating and kind. We hope to stay here again soon.
We were thankful for the opportunity to rent Bluewater Escape. We had family from Seattle, Florida and Arkansas and they were all amazed by the beautiful location. The six year old even caught a catfish off of the dock! Thank you for everything!

great location overlooking the lake. very quiet neighborhood. really enjoyed the full length deck. the fully enclosed porch added another "outside" dimension. plenty very comfortable furniture inside and out. beds very good. kitchen layout conducive to interactive meals. a ways to drive from pensacola to find a quiet reading room... but well worth it! fun place.
I have three words for you - BOOK IT NOW! We were a team of three women co-workers staying for a week while leading Trainings in the area. This home is peaceful, quiet, relaxing, spacious - everything we wanted and more. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, we felt pampered. The view is so worth it, the neighborhood is quiet. All of our team said they wanted to go back with their families. The glassed in porch gives you even more room to spread out, it is even temperature controled out there! We will definitely return, big thanks to Lonnie for making this spot so special.
This house had a lot going for it. Exceptionally clean! Wonderful view!! We had a little trouble with the AC and the owner came over immediately to fix it. The only thing I would mention is that the bed in the master bedroom is quite uncomfortable, it definitely made my back hurt. Also, if you are planning on doing any cooking, know that the kitchen is very well stocked but there are NO seasonings, not even salt or pepper.
Highly recommend this property for the relaxed vibes, gorgeous scenery & comfortable stay. We did not partake in any lake activities this time but would love to return in warmer weather to have even more fun.
This house was absolutely amazing… It was sparkly clean and had perfect access to the lake… Our cousin brought the boat across and pulled right up to the dock… So easy… Would definitely book again
Overall, property meet expectations, family reaally enjoyed the stay. If I had to point out one thing, the master bed was very hard because it felt like sleeping on brick, compared to our home bed.
The host Lonnie was incredibly courteous and worked with us as we evacuated from hurricane Milton. I highly recommend his place. Absolutely beautiful!!! We’ll be back this summer to stay here!! Thank you
My 8 year old son said it best “This place is awesome, we need to put this on our list of places to stay again” The house is cozy and clean. Theres a-lot of space. Fishing was wonderful, its not about the fish caught, its the memories made! The neighbors made our stay even better.
Well-maintained home with expansive view of the lake from the sunroom or deck. A nice surprise for us was the deck is fenced with a gate at each exit which was perfect for our little dog. No sidewalks, but it's a walkable neighborhood due to very low traffic. We would stay here again. Also, if you like home-cooking, you'll love the Woodcraft Cafe in Wetumpka.
We needed a place to vacation so we could stay within driving distance to the EJI Legacy Sites (which we highly recommend — as good as or better than any Smithsonian museum or Wash. DC memorial). This house was just beautiful. So clean, well-stocked, and well organized. The dock was very well maintained and had a beautiful view over the lake. We fished and caught catfish and gar. Such a peaceful area. The owner was very responsive to our questions. It could not have gone better! Loved it!!
