"We drove about 4 hrs from Merida and arrived just before 13:00, the plan was to eat lunch at the advertised Italian restaurant in the hotel, but it was all locked up, closed. We decided to drive over to the beach, drive because it looked like a much more than the listed 7 minute walk to the El Cuyo Playa. "Mero Mero hotel is the place to be if you go to El Cuyo! It’s beautifully designed, clean, close to the beach and has lots of eco friendly features. Laura is super friendly and the whole vibe is just the best! We enjoyed our stay there and we will surely be back!"
