Good size room which was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The area is perfect for tourists. The hosts spoke a little english and were so helpful, charming and kind.; when my wife was injured they helped us a lot. Kimi cafe nearby has good coffee. Pirkko shaw.

I enjoyed my stay at Hatoya hotel Ikebukuro. While not glamorous, the room was clean, comfortable and walking distance from the station and the centre of Ikebukuro. It was the perfect place to base myself for a day of sightseeing around Tokyo. The manger and staff were were friendly and helpful. The manager even allowed me to check in when I arrived early which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely consider staying at Hatoya hotel again.

Nice stay with friendly welcome

Excellent service from the host; really feels like coming home every day. My room was pretty spacious considering Japanese standards. The decor of the room was a little worn, but the bathroom looked recently renovated. Room facilities were good, and the internet-connection worked as expected. There are countless dining options in Ikebukuro, and Ikebukuro station is extremely well connected.

Best hotel wish it was available for more days sadly it’s often sold out. Lovely owners and comfortable, clean and well equipped rooms. Ikebukuro is not a main touristic area and I really liked to stay in this district. Mostly locals and interesting surroundings. Still it’s very easy to go to any other Tokyo district with JR and Subway. Will come back here for sure. Recommend it.

Very quiet rooms. Very clean and space for two pieces of luggage plus regular size backpacks. Grocery store and convenience stores across the street. Very friendly staff/owners. I forgot my bag after I self checked out and came back and they let me in no problem.

Wonderful hotel! The room was very nice and clean, location was convenient (near the Ikebukuro station with restaurants near by), and the hotel personnel were lovely and kind! I will definitely book this hotel the next time I come to Tokyo.

The hotel near the ikebukuro shopping area, there are many convenience stores around the hotel. Staff is friendly. But the hotel is a bit far from the train station

平日泊だったので、とても静かでゆっくりすごせました。 チェックイン時間前だったのですが、荷物を置きに寄らせてもらったら、すぐにチェックインさせて貰えて助かりました。 フロントの方も、とても感じよく丁寧に対応していただき、エレベーターがないからと、荷物を上の階まであげてくださいました。 部屋も清潔で、快適にすごせました。 機会がありましたら、また是非に利用させて貰いたいです。

還不錯

離池袋站不算遠，但也有一小段路，池袋有些區域比較亂，但這一帶還好，老闆人很好，還幫忙提行李上樓，房間空間很大，旅館雖然比較舊了，但整理的滿乾淨的，備品也都齊全
