Room was very clean and smelled great. No stains on the sheets and comfy comfy pillows. Great country views and even an awesome bar nearby with fantastic pizza 🍕 the bed was a little hard but overall will stay again
We actually got here after 10:00 at night because we went to cedar point and we're going to the Toledo zoo in the morning the lady in the office was super nice really helpful. The room was clean the pillows and bed were comfortable nothing fancy but a nice place to put your head down to get some rest!
The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I think we met an owner at check in, and she was very kind and helpful with our questions about the area.
Older place but clean and comfortable. Great place for fisherman needing a place to stay. Only thing I could say that would make it better is several outdoor electrical outlets installed for being able to charge batteries in a boat. Owners very nice and helpful.
Came because of the BIRDS! Despite old property, due to its VERY CLOSE PROXIMITY to Maumee Bay, Magee Marsh, etc, we stayed 3 nights in the non-smoking King Suite (Rm. 220) with kitchenette. Linda in the Office was very friendly and helpful! Parking felt safe. We enjoyed the extra space of the suite for our gear. FYI: No elevator to the room. Bed was Extra-firm, linens were CLEAN, pillows (3) were flat. Heating units worked smoothly, not too loud. 2 TVs were OK. After plugging in the large fridge, it worked fine. Microwave OK. Coffee pot too dirty to want to use. Stovetop worked. No dish soap. 2 badly worn Teflon-coated sauce pans. Only odd cutlery. 1 plastic cereal bowl. (Someone had left a package of paper bowls, much appreciated.) Styrofoam cups. We used provided bathroom hand towels for the kitchen. Did not want to try the shower. An OK quiet place to lay our heads after long ENJOYABLE days of Birding.

Nice fishing lodge area served its purpose somewhere to lay your head to sleep and shower although it needs a water booster for the shower pressure was weak at best. Could be normal for the area I’m not sure.
Staff was great and welcomed us in with a smile and exchanged towels daily.
No restaurants near buy, If the bar was open and served average bar menu, wings, pretzel, burger or even just a club sandwich would probably draw more of a crowd.
I would return.
The floor was not clean, the room had a few insects and cobwebs.

The Lake Erie Lodge is an old facility that is OK if you are expecting to just sleep and get to fishing or other activity. The rooms are very old and worn, but they were clean. The desk lady was nice and helpful. Not a place you are going to want to hang out in the room, but if you just need a cheap bed and shower, ok. Bring your own pillow. The two on the bed were very small.
This property is in serious need of updating, refurbishing, and cleaning. Actually, a good cleaning would help a lot. When we got there, there were no lights on outside and only the office light was on inside. We thought it was out of business. The office was not as the picture online showed. It was dirty and cluttered. Interestingly, there was a fly swatter in our room. I think it was supposed to be for may flies, which is why the lights were off, according to the woman who checked us in. We used the fly swatter for taking spider webs down, which were thick and everywhere. The sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean. We slept well. The price was good.
