At checkin, it took us 45 minutes to get checked in by one person, (did not speak english). When we got to our room, there were dead bugs on the floor, they let us switch rooms. While we had a non-smoking room the whole building smelled like cigarette smoke and pot. Had our stay been longer than just to sleep, we would not have stayed.

The hotel is wonderful The only reason it got a medium on the comfort is because the bed was hard but other than that this is an exceptional hotel with an awesome little restaurant right on the side of it

The lobby area was nice and clean staff was polite and courteous. To the room. Had a funky smell there were roaches, holes in the walls, The air conditioner was cey loud so loud could not leave it on.

I did not feel unsafe at the hotel. The hotel sits between a highway side road and a neighborhood. The rooms were very basic. The bolt on my room did not lock but they sent me to another room when I refused to stay in a room without a bolt.

Great Mexican food next door. Not clean on check in but great the next day but count bodies in a room and leave enough towels for each. Shouldn't have to ask.

Not worth it

Not a good place to stay, beds very uncomfortable, holes in the wall, there was blood on a pillow, and holes in the blanket for the bed.

Good stay at the Scottish

Our stay was good. The hotel was clean and we had the option of non-smoking even though when you walk in there was a distinct smoke odor but not in the room we stayed in. Overall, it was a little pricey for not having a true breakfast. They had packaged sweets, juice and coffee. One downfall was the construction on the road in front of the hotel but it wasn't too bad for a weekend. Would I stay there again? Yes.

Well i was here working had my rv at a place that lost power accidentally reserved a smoking room cause needed a place asap the lady got real fn nasty when i asked her for non smoking shit i woulda paid the difference

Awful place wouldn't recommend.

Place was gross. The whole hotel smelled like smoke, the mini fridge smelled like death. There were plants growing out of our friends drains in their room. They automatically book you in a smoking room unless you comment that you want one that isn't. The rooms were freezing and the sheets and "comforter" were super thin. This place will do if your alternative is sleeping in your car, but to be honest I think your car might be more desirable in some cases.

Needs better maintenance

If you just need a place to spend the night and shower and you're on a tight budget then this place will do. However, there are several issues with this inn that I'd rather spend a few extra bucks to sleep elsewhere, which is what I'm doing next time. Me and my partner stayed 3 nights. The first night of arrival we saw that the 1 trash can the room had, had not been emptied from whomever had used the room last. The shower/tub has no floor mat or any kind of grip on the flooring so when you're in the shower, it is so slippery, we had to use the handle bars inside the shower to steady ourselves. I myself almost slipped a few times. The bed is very stiff and therefore made for an uncomfortable sleep. On night 3, our last night, the AC unit stopped blowing cold air. All in all, we won't be returning here again

As a solo traveler, safety is always my main concern. I felt safe and secure in this hotel and I checked in very late in the evening. The entrance and parking lot area is very brightly lit and I did see some cameras so I felt my rental car would be safe. As far as the room, it was very spacious and for the most part clean. However, I did find a few german roaches in the bathroom which is what is causing the rating. It was an okay stay over all for just one night.
