"Fabulous home with room for 4 adults and 2 children and a very happy spoodle. The very well equipped kitchen and the slow combustion fire with fire wood were great, especially as the weather over the weekend was cold and wet. The fully enclosed garden was beautiful and the sound of the river and the birdlife were very relaxing. We loved our three nights at Lavender Cottage and look forward to returning."

A few things could be better - the TV needs upgrading as it must be over 10 years old. Some of the furniture, and curtains also starting to show signs of wear. The host not particularly friendly. But we were quite happy to be left to our own devices so it didn't bother us."

Bed super comfy too, and watch out for the honking deer!"

Check in was super easy and staff were so friendly. Parking was easy with their own carpark which was easy to park a bigger car. The amenities in the room were ample and everything was so clean and tidy. We will definitely be booking again and have been recommending to friends and family as it was so perfect!"
