Ardtara Country House

Ardtara Country House

8/10 Good
"The room was very clean, well laid out with period furniture pieces. The bed was extremely comfortable with just the right amount of bedding. The en-suite was well equipped, everything worked, the shower was particularly good. There was a damp smell coming up through the wash basin. Some drain cleaner would probably sort it. Breakfast was amazing, I wanted to eat everything on the menu! Prompt service and beautifully cooked."

"We stayed here for 1 night after attending a wedding in Ballymena. The hotel has a welcoming, comfortable feel about it as a first impression and, the staff were very helpful from the start. Our room was OK but the bathroom a bit tired looking. Breakfast choices very good."

"Had a fabulous stay at the Rabbit. The rooms in particular are lovely and decorated to a high spec. Worth booking the slightly bigger room as they are very spacious! Spa is fantastic and not over crowded or anything. Will definitely be back!"

The Inn Castledawson

The Inn Castledawson

8/10 Good
"It was fine, comfortable bed, decent room etc, and an actual bath, which was great. However, it felt somehow a bit odd and unofficial in its atmosphere. As if it hadn’t completely changed from being just a local pub, and the (nice) staff hadn’t really trained in the hotel business. I’d stay there again though."

Doubletree by Hilton Belfast Templepatrick

8/10 Good
"The hotel was clean and comfortable! The staff was helpful and very kind. My only complaint was really about breakfast and the availability of fresh coffee! We stayed about a week and ate breakfast in the hotel almost every morning. The buffet never changed!! So it was pretty tiring after a few days of eating the same thing over and over. Also, you couldn’t get coffee before 7a (when breakfast started) so if you were an early riser or had an early tour - no coffee for you!"
