Despite what is said on Expedia and online communication I had ability to show, staff stated there is no communication with Expedia bookings. Is automated responses and building makes 0 effort to access it even acknowledge they exist.
Request was for a wedding night in June and was booked/ paid for fully in April. I had asked to have a 3rd party check in on our behalf as we were very busy and could not get to hotel until 2am. In April I Was advised correspondence is was sent directly from pan pacific acknowledging my request and stating the request was added to booking file several months in advance. No mention of any requirements to do this, giving name of 3rd party was required to check in etc.
Staff and management extremely difficult with 3rd party. 3rd party arrived as scheduled and met with dismissal. While over phone communication with me in middle of my wedding with 3rd party was present, I offered to give credit card numbers and photos of government identification to match booking information, staff response to contact someone else to figure it out.
Wedding evening experience was ruined before setting foot in hotel. Don’t have much to say about the hotel itself because the stay was ruined from communication experience from earlier in the day.
Don’t offer requests if you don’t bother to care about what people put down or if there are issues, communicate with the people booking and paying if advanced notice is given about said request
