The location is convenient, but overall the experience was disappointing for a hotel of this reputation.
Breakfast was mediocre—more in line with a 3- or 4-star property rather than a Ritz-Carlton.
The doormen were unhelpful and didn’t offer any assistance with luggage. At check-in, the staff were similarly unaccommodating. I asked the receptionist to look into why my room key card wasn’t working. Despite confirming all of my personal details (name, phone number, etc.), she refused to reactivate the card and instead sent someone with me to verify my identity via my passport—something that could have been handled far more efficiently.
For such a well-known luxury brand, the service and attention to detail were well below expectations. I won’t be returning.
