I booked the room with a private bathroom, and while it was extremely small, it was fantastic for a single traveler and I got a great sleep both nights I was there, as there was a fan, the room got pitch black, and there was no noise in the hallways at all.
The location is great, in China Town, and near hundreds of great shops.
The lady (didn't get her name) who checked me in was very nice, and the cleaning lady (Lianz) was awesome, very friendly and super happy.
Anytime I want to be near the hustle and bustle of Toronto and am traveling solo, I'd be happy to stay here!
Rooms are very small. I had a double bed (really a twin) with a private bath. But it served the purpose and would book again...first abd foremost is cleanliness and a private bath...and I was very ok with it. You need to bring really your own shower products / wash cloths...lil things to make your stay more enjoyable.
.but if you expect the Hilton....well then book the Hilton. Enjoy your stay
As I like the downtown area to walk, shop, and see the Jays, I found this property to be the ideal location for me. Rooms are basic and clean. Loved my time there.
It’s clean and safe. It’s also basic and very affordable. Great location if you want to be in China Town.
It’s a little loud depending if your room is on a lower floor. Again, everything is basic and very clean.
The room was nice and clean, air conditioner worked well, and linens were provided. Check in was fairly easy. The only issue I had was the other guests were very loud very late, so not restful. Great location for Kensington market and downtown, close to major transit routes. Overall, it did the trick.

I love staying here. It’s simple, bed is actually very comfortable. Personally I love China town… it’s not a fancy hotel but it is a quick easy/ efficient cheap way to travel
The rooms are satisfactory for the nightly rate. I have stayed there multiple times when in a pinch, and I prefer the double bed for better safety and privacy than the single beds. I was happy to find air conditioning, two clean towels, and fresh sheets. The staff have always been very helpful and willing to answer any questions. Just a word of caution: if you are staying on the 2nd floor, there will be noise, as the staircase is quite noisy and there are quite a few slamming doors for those arriving early in the morning.
Clean and cheap. Centrally located. We had a very late check-in at 3am due to air Canada being the terrible airline it is and we were accommodated.

The room was clean, the staff was nice, the bathroom is extremely small, so tall or larger people beware. The neighborhood is sketchy so mind your surroundings. It's an okay place in a pinch, one or two nights, but I wouldn't do a prolong stay.
The room was spartan but extremely clean and comfortable. Much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. The neighborhood was a tad sketchy but cool, and the location is convenient.
