An excellent stay in Toronto.
“The Livimg Room” bar and restaurant is great, with delicious food and drinks Z
Within a short drive to a number of attractions (St Lawerence Market, Union Station, CN Tower).
Didn't have enough time to use the gym but other than that, the staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive, it was always easy to get a hold of someone and they accommodated me well when it came to getting a limo to and from YYZ. Room was always cleaned around the clock and I found the amenities very useful. I also appreciated having morning espresso waiting for me before I started the next day. Would definitely stay again!
The place was great. Rooms were clean and nice. Very modern rooms as everything appear to operate with smart buttons like a morning button to turn on all the light as well as opening the drapes. So a little learning curve in the beginning to get only specific lights on. I also enjoyed the shower as it had 2 options and 1 was to have the water come from the ceiling above you which is good for me since I’m tall and normally would have to duck my head to wash. The staff was fantastic and they even help with getting ROM tickets which is about a 10-15 minute walk away.
The location and look is great!
We ate at Tono and the resto is gorgeous but the food was not spectacular and portions were so small one of my guests had to order two main courses. Dinner for 5 with only one bottle of wine and no drinks was over $900.
The room was nice but the open bathroom is awful. No privacy and one can’t turn on the lights in the bathroom without waking your partner up.
I originally planned to stay for just one week, but life had other plans and I ended up needing to stay in Toronto for an entire month. I stayed at this hotel the whole time, and I’m so glad I did.
What could have been a stressful and unexpected extended stay was made so much easier by the staff, who genuinely made me feel at home. When you’re living in a hotel for a month, that makes all the difference.
I also absolutely love the hotel itself, the location, the ambiance, the signature scent, the rooms, everything. It feels stylish and elevated while still being incredibly comfortable.
After a month here, I can confidently say this will always be my hotel in Toronto. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
I had a wonderful time staying at the W hotel in Memorial Day Weekend. The accommodations were spectacular, the staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurants were fantastic and delicious, I especially liked the Listening Bar. I came into town to see Bruno Mars concert (which was cancelled due to the torrential rain that poured that weekend); but I enjoyed my stay and meeting other people who were at the hotel. When I return to back to Toronto, will happily book my stay at the W Tornonto hotel.
