We had a wonderful weekend and David and Tonny were the perfect hosts. Our room was spotless with lots of nice touches. Breakfast was without doubt 5 stars. We would have no hesitation recommending the Tynedale.

Wo fange ich an?! Wir wollten unbedingt in ein B&B für unseren ersten Urlaub in England. Jetzt sind wir sicher, dass die Messlatte so hoch ist, dass kein anderes jemals daran anknüpft. Wir wurden von Dave und Tonny herzlich an der Tür empfangen, solange Tonny uns Sekt einschenkte, trug Dave unsere Koffer hoch. Die beiden waren Stewards in der First &Business class namhafter Airlines. Und sie wie sie damals ihre Gäste on Boarding verwöhnt hatten, und genau so verwöhnen sie ihre B&B Gäste. Beide sind sehr unterhaltsam und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Zum Frühstück gab es reichlich frisches Obst, Joghurt, Müsli, Smoothie und auch eine Karte mit einer Auswahl an warmem Frühstück. Dabei werden Allergiker und Vegetarier beachtet. Bei dem Frühstück bleibt man bis zum Abendessen satt. Am Nachmittag konnte man (kostenlos!!) selbsgebackenen Kuchen genießen, sich an Obst, Kaffee und Softgetränken bedienen. Unser Zimmer war sauber, schön eingerichtet und das Bett sehr bequem. Zum Abschied gab es Proviant für die Fahrt und (was sehr schön war !) eine dicke Umarmung… wie von Freunden. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage, lieber Dave und Tonny ❤️

The Excellent Tyndale Hotel

The Tyndale Hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble and the standard of the room was excellent. I have recommended this hotel to several people already and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Great stay, clean and comfortable. Warm and friendly welcome. Very good breakfast. Would highly recommend this place - especially if you are visiting the the Riviera International Conference Centre which is only a 5 minute walk away.

Warm and Welcoming

Daniel and Andy are excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our room was extremely comfortable and the new bathroom was spotlessly clean and well stocked with luxurious towels and high quality bath products. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in and gave me one of the best nights rest I've had during my trip around the south west. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked to order. I would highly recommend Tyndale Guest House and would definitely stay again the next time I visit Torquay.
