"Helpful and friendly host. Hotel has seen better days but new owner is working hard to bring hotel up to scratch and our family room was clean, comfortable and very spacious for a family of four. Tv reception was intermittent but we were only there for one night to catch the ferry so no bother. Continental breakfast was ok although the croissants didn’t look very continental but the staff were lovely, offering to fill our water bottle for the journey. Beautiful views from breakfast room window. The hotel is in a great spot for scenic boardwalks in area. Good value and very convenient stopover for the ferry."

"We love Plas and the amount of space and flexibility it gives our large family! The outdoor space is unbeatable, location incredible and we hope to return again and again! That said this beautiful old house could do with a some tlc, the crumbling walls/ceilings were very noticeable we even had some sprinkle down onto us while sleeping. The double beds are on the small side and not the comfiest - with the space all the rooms have some basic upgrades on size and new modern mattresses would make a real difference. An additional washing line for outside would be great too & maybe a BBQ! Even with these suggestions, we’ve had an amazing stay and would highly recommend - this is our 2nd stay and we will be booking again!"

"The house was clean and reasonably spacious with good sized bedrooms. The dining area was comfortable although the area for relaxing was rather cramped for six people. Storage space in the bedrooms was not quite adequate. One of the bedrooms had an uncomfortable mattress. In the kitchen there was a shortage of serving dishes and cooking equipment."

"The house is spacious. The location is perfect. Lots of things to do around. We had a great time. Limited supplies in the house: 3 toilet rolls, 5 washing tablets, no laundry detergent/powder, 5 tea bags, some sachets of sugar and 3 sachets of milk. Better book your supermarket delivery beforehand."

"The apartment was lovely very clean comfortable and compact. Ideally located for access to the coastal path. And the stunning views of porth when beach. Situated directly over the White Eagle so we expected noise but not at the level we experienced. On the Friday night there was a quiz followed by a disco that went on till around 1030 all very loud. Saturday was quieter but on both nights the staff don’t seem to leave till around midnight. So no chance getting an early night. If you enjoy nightlife you’ll be very happy but if like us you like an early start walking and enjoying Anglesey’s natural beauty it might not be for you. That all said we enjoyed our 2 night stay. The land lord at the White Eagle was helpful and accommodating and the food there is fabulous. You enter the property by the door marked ‘the nest’ the little nest is then at the top of the stairs to the right."

"This property was perfect, we really enjoyed our stay. It was spotless, decorated beautifully and the garden was great. We even chatted to the neighbours who were lovely. It was the perfect place for the dogs, who also loved it. And everything we wanted was within a few minutes drive. We took some recommendations from the guest book on places to eat that allowed dogs, I would highly recommend others do the same because they were incredible! Would definitely stay here again."

"Nice clean well sited flat in old house converted to pub years ago. No mention of very steep access stairs with no proper handrail, one bathroom and one toilet open directly onto communal areas with embarrassing lack of privacy- important when fully occupied. Outdoor roof space next to kitchen vent pipe exits! Usual Anglesey sewage/drain/septic tank problems. Shower plumbing fittings and door could do with attention but that’s all the bad stuff. Would stay again but not with elderly people, only a couple or family due to bathroom /toilet problem mentioned."

"This was a perfect place for a family group for a wedding. The back door was the only problem. The house is really comfortable and the walking from the house was perfect for dogs."
