It is located in altitude of 1.458 meters. Its name probably refers to the fact that is is a moist meadow or a small moorland. It is few hours hike southwest from the Schiestlhaus and totally worth due to the variable countryside (barren limestone plateau with grassy meadows, green scrub pine forrests, classical mountain forrests) and near Sackwiesensee offering a natural swimming opportunity.
