Das Borgobeltrani befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude in der Altstadt von Trani, fußläufig von allen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, und haben eine Klimaanlage, sind modern und komfortabel eingerichtet, befinden sich aber teilweise im 2. Stockwerk. Einen Aufzug gibt es nicht. Das Bad ist groß und geräumig. Leider gibt es nur einen sehr kleinen Mülleimer im Bad und keinen im Zimmer. Außerdem kann der kleine Kühlschrank im Zimmer stören, wenn man einen empfindlichen Schlaf hat. Die von anderen Gästen beschriebene Dachterrasse, auf der das Frühstück serviert wird, haben wir leider nicht gesehen, was vielleicht daran lag, dass wir in der Nebensaison dort waren. Stattdessen wurde das für italienische Verhältnisse reichhaltige Frühstück in einem benachbarten Café serviert. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt können wir das Borgobeltrani vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Borgobeltrani is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location in the centre of Trani. While the hotel does not have parking there are plenty of easily accessible car parks nearby. The room was huge, clean and nicely presented and the offer of coffee and cake for free was a lovely addition. Breakfast up on the roof was tasty and a wonderful setting. We would return in a heartbeat.

It was lovely - beautifully designed, good sized elegant room and bathroom, glorious roof terrace with delicious and expansive breakfast and the hosts were great, incredibly helpful with excellent restaurant and attraction recommendations. We had a wonderful three day stay. We really appreciated the very comfortable bed, the modern and effective air con system and the non-leaky shower, none of which are usual in Italy. The location in the heart of the old town could not be faulted. The only tiny complaint we could make is that the shelf over the bed could be better positioned - but honestly that’s it. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Fantastic!

Borgobeltrani exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect- a short stroll to the center of everything and quite at night. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The rooftop patio is lovely, and the delicious outdoor breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Gianluca and the staff were friendly and attentive. They provided numerous recommendations that we loved, and went as far as making dinner reservations for us each night we were there. We highly recommend Borgobeltrani, and we will stay there again when we return to Trani! Grazie Giuanluca!

Amazing Hotel in the heart of old Trani

Wonderful boutique hotel, in the heart of the old town in Trani. The owners are super helpful, and make your stay a true pleasure. Every detail in the hotel is exquisitely looked after, from the beautiful entrance, to the stunning terrace, to each room which appears to be works of art. The breakfast was amazing, and since the weather while we were there was inclimate, brought to our room. I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay.

The best.......

An old building in the Centro Storico that has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard. Warm welcome from proprieters Gianluca, Ida & staff. Private parking a short distance away made easy. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast on the rooftop terrace where you have a 360 degree view of beautiful Trani. It is also an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset sipping the Rose wine that is provided (free water also). Gianluca's restaurant recommendations were all spot on. Seafood is a must with it so fresh (watch the fishermen sell their catch on the quay). Close to the Cathedral, Castello, wonderful harbour etc.

Magical getaway

It was our first visit to Trani and we did not know what to expect: and even if we had imagined it, we were completely bowled over by the view from the beautiful terrace when we arrived to meet our friends there. The Cathedral, the harbour, and the sea were there for us to enjoy in a 360 degree view. The people are warm and friendly, our hotel absolutely ideal, both in facilities and location, and there is much to do if you wish to, and many places simply to relax and enjoy the dolce-far-niente. The staff at Borgobeltrani are all kinds and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect!

Séjour agréable

Séjour au centre de TRANI dans une rue passante le jour mais calme la nuit. Accueil très agréable et souriant. Très bon petit déjeuner sur la terrasse, mais l'accès est un peu raide pour des personnes d'un age certain. Belle chambre pour deux mais un peu petite pour trois.

Beautiful place, wonderful people!

What an unexpected gem! We absolutely fell in love with Gianluca and Ida (the proprietors) and the beautifully renovated accommodations. After being welcomed with glasses of local wine and homemade cakes and pastries in the reception area, we arrived in our beautiful room overlooking a charming street just meters from the waterfront. Breathtaking view from the rooftop terrace was where we enjoyed our complimentary traditional Italian breakfast each morning. Personal service was equal to that of a 5 star resort as they even handled our laundry and parking needs with a smile. We only wish that we could have stayed longer, but look forward to returning to Borgobeltrani on our next trip to Puglia.

Rigtig flot og velindrettet hotel

Meget velindrettet hotel, i en ny og minimalistisk stil - hvor tingene så fungerer. Værelset var stort, og med opholdsted og flot stort badeværelse! Personalet er supervenligt og altid til rådighed. De havde mulighed for at opbevare min motorcykel i et magasin ved siden af hotellet, så det var perfekt! Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker, med hjemmelavede tærter og alt muligt andet. Hvis jeg får muligheden for at komme tilbage til Trani, så bor jeg her!
