"Room was really nice and comfortable. Great stop on a road trip for an overnight rest. Bedding nice and comfortable-room spacious and clean, bathroom nicer than other competitive brands like Hampton Inn….tile/glass, nice living room and TV—backlit lighting overall great experience….very well lit parking lot, close to convenient Wawa…Areas of opportunity: coffee and breakfast in lobby not high quality, AC unit was loud…..Overall, super happy with this hotel!"

"I can't speak for anybody else or any other review, but I'm speaking for the review that I personally had the one night that I stayed there. I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn Richmond during a late-night trip, checking in around 11:00 PM and leaving around 7:55 AM the next morning. Because my stay was so short, I didn’t have enough time to fully evaluate everything the property had to offer. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. One of the biggest positives was the pricing. The rate was very reasonable, and I appreciated the value for the money. The main difference I noticed compared to past Red Roof stays was the room fragrance. It’s been a few years since I’ve stayed at a Red Roof Inn and primarily they have been in Virginia Beach, but I don’t remember those rooms having the same scent. To be clear, it was not a bad, dirty, or musty smell, and the room appeared clean. It seemed more like a cleaning product or air freshener that just wasn’t particularly appealing to me. The bed was okay and provided a decent night’s sleep, but the A/C making a distinct noise kept waking me up, but I'm a light sleeper. I would likely stay here again for a quick overnight stop because of the excellent pricing and great staff. However, it probably wouldn’t be my top choice for a full-day or multi-night stay. Overall, it was a clean, affordable hotel with friendly service and good value for the price."

"This was my first stay at Best Western.The room they assigned us at first was not good,it smelled the curtains was clearly dirty and the sheets didn't look fresh. We were going to cancel our reservation but was informed by front desk we would be charged fully.So the young lady showed us another room which was not that much better but we stayed being it was only for two nights.the restaurant food for us was horrible,took one bite of the burger and we left.I personally would not recommend this location.The staff were amazing and very friendly.The pictures on the apps are an illusion compared to what it looks like when you get there.the water was green in the pool,just not a good look for us. I would give a one star"

"The room is advertised as having a kitchen however the reality is there’s a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. There’s no stove nor a single utensil or other kitchen necessities. Despite being a mile from the airport I had to hire Lyft to get to my flight. That seems odd but overall the rooms are fine for a short stay. All in all it is very very average with exception the staff is very helpful."

"This hotel should be shut DOWN! I was changed rooms THREE times. 1st room stunk of cigarettes, I had my two kids with me this was very unhealthy for my kids. 2nd room had actual feces or throw up on the toilet. 3rd room had latex gloves under the pillow of one bed and on the other the bed sheets had BLOOD."
