"Overall property condition is pretty new and very clean, bathroom is a bit small but setup very creatively to maximize space utilization. Location is close to tram tracks, so can be a bit noisy. Room has a washer only, no dryer, limited hangers to dry clothes maybe provide a foldable drying rack so that guests can put it out on the balcony in the summer or in the room as the room is pretty spacious (we have kids so we have more clothes to wash) "
"This two-story home is so beautiful! It’s decorated in a modern, minimalist, somewhat Scandinavian style. I originally booked this place because I fell in love with the bathtub picture and thought that the extra space would be nice. Once I entered the place, I was blown away by the little details like the comfortable bed and bedding, how soft the towels were, and how nice it was to listen to the record player and even just gazing at the ceiling beams. "Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is spacious. Parking lot right next to hotel building. Walking distance to Hakodate Morning Market. Highly recommended!"
"Wonderful stay - so comfortable and welcoming and in a great location (we came by train). Would definitely return as we loved the city as much as the hotel. "
"Close proximity to places we intended to visit such as the Hakodate Morning Market, Goryōkaku and the Red Brick Warehouse...loads of dining options within walking distance "

"I loved this hotel! It was located right in the JR station which was so very helpful when it took me a very long time to travel from Haneda airport in Tokyo to Hakodate via shinkansen. I was soooo relieved when I realized I didn't have to figure out where the hotel was, it was literally just right there!
I lost my phone charger and cord in transit and they were kind enough to lend me one and give me directions to the nearest electronics store. I know a little bit of Japanese so that helped with the communication as they didn't know too much English.
One super cool perk of this hotel is that they had what was called the pillow corner. In a part of the lobby there was an area where if you wanted a different pillow from the standard issue you could "shop" around in this super cool little pillow library. There were signs and labels indicating the softness and hardness level and displays showing what material was inside the pillow. It was soooo amazing! I like a harder pillow so I was happy to find one that fit my preferences.
The hotel is so perfectly located right across the way from the morning market. Very convenient! And I could see Mount Hakodate from my window.
I only stayed two days in Hakodate, it was my first time in Hokkaido and I split my trip between here and Sapporo. I really super enjoyed it and wish I had scheduled more time on my trip from this area.
If I ever return I will definitely stay again at this hotel. Highly recommend!"
"Lovely hotel. Absolutely amazing breakfast (but very popular…. First hotel where there is a queue to get in at 6 am). A heads up would have been nice if we were told to bring our towels from our room to the onsen. Probably got lost in translation. But excellent hotel. "

(I felt transported to another place simply relaxing in the home and listening to music.) It’s hard to describe the peaceful, cozy feeling one gets from soaking in these thoughtful interior design elements. I want to go back already!
One thing to note is to make sure you get a number code for the door to check in. (Due to a system error, I didn’t receive this message. I called the host and he was very quick in walking me through check-in.) All my communication with the host was warm and welcoming, enhancing my stay even further.
I would 100% recommend staying here, and I myself would love to go back someday. Hopefully soon. "
