The facility was very cleaned. The location was wonderful. Staff was helpful. The only negatives were the facility was a bit on the older side and some small maintenance items were needed. We are planning on staying there again next year.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, the location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, the only improvement I would mention is beds were not very comfortable and the sheets were scratchy, the shower needed a good cleaning. Although I would stay here again, it was a very comfortable hotel and the pool and hot tub were very nice!

The property was clean and right on the lake. It has a great pool and hot tub too. We will definitely return and stay a couple more nights and go for one of the beach front rooms.

Our family wanted to get a mini trip in before school started and this was perfect. The beach was nice on the hotel property and easy to get a nice spot on the beach. The hotel provides a little breakfast box every morning which is a nice gesture. It’s not a super modern hotel but we have no issues with our room and the staff was great. When we come back we’ll stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel, and the view right on the water is unbeatable! The staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay and we are truly grateful. Great hotel for families; our daughter absolutely loved the beach and the indoor pool and hot tub! Definitely recommend

Sugar Beach Resort is the best! This was our 3rd year in a row that we've vacationed here. We were having such a fantastic time that the night before checkout, we inquired at guest services about adding on another day (even though it was a busy Labor Day weekend). She didn't skip a beat and had us booked for another night. We even took advantage of a late checkout (LOVE that amenity!!). TC Watersports (the on-site water craft rentals) is awesome! What a great partnership and a sweet amenity to offer to resort guests. We can't wait to return!
