Great stay right on the water!

Amazing place to stay right on the water and only a few minutes from downtown traverse. The outdoor space in the backyard space incredible. Also Doug was a great host and very helpful.

Spectacular home on West Bay!

This property is amazing! Better than the photos. Accommodations were lovely and the exterior spaces exceeded our expectations. Close to downtown Traverse City and the many vineyards. Awesome to be right on the water!!

Magical Lakefront Property

This house is incredible! The spacious patio with plenty of seating, fire pit and heaters was our favorite place to be. The interior is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Doug was great at communicating instructions and showed us around the property upon arrival. Highly recommend for a family weekend.

Amazing home

It was an amazing home that provided our group with such a fantastic trip. It was an opportunity for our entire group of friends to hang out and visit. We cooked great meals and ate outside. We spent the evening on the monster patio around the fire. We cannot wait to do it again. Doug was an amazing host, and it was great to run into him in town. Thanks for everything!

Outstanding Experience

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the fine accommodations. Doug Street is an outstanding host who is very easy to work with. The Patio was an amazing place to spend time our adult children and grandchildren. We spent most of our time there and on the beach area just in front of the patio. It was nice to have the properties mooring station in place so we could keep the pontoon boat tied up steps away from the patio.

First time in Traverse City

This was a special vacation with family and friends. Everything was as advertised. It was greatly enhanced by the owner and excellent communication before and during our stay. I have stayed at many rental properties around the world. This was top notch from beginning to end. The owner even gave us a lift to the airport.

Waves at the Wonderful Waterfront

Book this property now! We lived on the back deck for the entire week of July 4th. With the outdoor space heaters and the gas fire feature, we drank coffee before the sunrise and stayed out until the wee hours the next morning. Seating for twice the occupancy. Host Douglas Sheets previewed the house and made sure all amenities were available, TP, paper towels, trash bags, salt, pepper, things that we have had to buy at other VRBOs. Worth every penny.

Great getaway for families

We were so happy with this home on Lake Michigan. Being on West bay was delightful because the water wasn’t as rough as the open lake is. The lower deck was our favorite space every day! The two sections where you can walk directly into the water or play on the beach are so good for kids, or adults. The house accommodates big groups so nicely. Douglas was super helpful & tries to make sure anything you need is there. He also has some great restaurant recommendations. Definitely a 10/10 place!!

Great place for a family getaway I would like

Great Location, property, and the views were outstanding. Perfect for family stays. We had 5 adults and 2 children under 4 and everything about it was great. Doug was great to deal with and went out of his way for us.

We had a wonderful stay here! Location can’t be beat, close to traverse city and convenient to visiting all the other towns in the area. The outdoor space is priceless, we enjoyed it from sunrise to lounging in the afternoons, to stars and fire at night. The house is exceptionally clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and lots of extra pillows, blankets, etc, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials. As people with allergies we REALLY appreciated that the house did not have heavily scented plug-ins or cleaning products.Highly recommend and would definitely rent again. Thank you for sharing this great house!

Beautiful view, super nice house

We had an amazing time. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was very clean. This is the only VRBO I've ever stayed in that actually had enough wash clothes for all of us for the entire trip, so I didn't have to worry about washing towels. The view is perfect... Beautiful sunrise! We loved watching the birds and sailboats go by. 10 out of 10, would stay again!

Amazing Time on the Water!

Gorgeous views! Quiet location, lots of construction into town. Very responsive host. Very clean, well stocked for kitchen and towels.Seniors note: Fourth bedroom and third bathroom is on lower level, full flight of stairs. Upper level 3 bedrooms, one shared and one ensuite bathroom.

All reviews gave this property a 5 perfect score. While skeptical this place could be that fantastic, IT WAS! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing. Doug was so pleasant to deal with, and our family (grandparents, parents, kids and grandchildren) loved the patio and immediate beach access. We will be back next summer! Wow!
