The Cabin is a hand crafted, post and beam, luxury timberframe home, immaculately appointed with the highest quality finishes and furnishings. Built in 2002, it is widely considered to be one of the most unique and magical homes in Tahoe Donner. Its 4200+ square feet offers 4 en suite bedrooms sleeping 10 comfortably. The main attraction though is the gourmet kitchen, dining area and spectacular great room with wine bar, satellite TV, and surround sound. Panoramic views are majestically framed by gorgeous woodwork throughout.
There is enough room for a large group for any occasion. Enjoy several outdoor decks for entertaining friends and family as well as a gourmet natural gas barbecue (summer use only, due to snow).

Tahoe Donner Amenities: As part of your rental you will have 6 guest passes that will allow up to 1 guest per card to access Tahoe Donner facilities including pools, hot tub, children's play center, tennis, downhill skiing (discounted lift tickets), cross-country skiing, snow play area, golf, driving range, beach access at nearby Donner Lake, boat rentals, fitness center, horseback riding, campground, and an extensive system of hiking trails. Tahoe Donner does charge an entry fee upon arrival that is charged per person per day. Children 2 and under are free. For more information about Tahoe Donner's amenities and current pricing we recommend visiting their website.*AMENITY UPDATE: Beginning Sept. 2, all pools and hot tubs at Trout Creek Rec Center will close for a renovation project, with reopening estimated for mid-December. During this time, the sauna, steam room, gym and fitness classes remain open. The Northwoods Clubhouse Pool will remain open until October 10*
This home comes complete with full kitchen and all linens and towels.
Because the property is located at the top of Tahoe Donner, it may be exposed to extreme blizzard conditions and drifts during winter storms. Please use the garage door entrance in winter. 4X4 vehicles are mandatory in winter to access this property and it is recommended that you drive up and down the rear side of Skislope Way from Alder Creek if it is snowing.
