We had a great family getaway this summer! The house is so conveniently located below The Ritz and walkable to The Treehouse, it's well maintained, clean, and well stocked. Our only hiccup was with the hot tub. Thankfully the property manager was quick to get it partially repaired and credited us a bit back for the inconvenience. This was actually our second stay at the property and we would happily stay again.

Reviewer Comments:
Great house in a great location for skiing. Poolhouse was great for the kids. Private hot tub made nights very enjoyable. Very clean and well stocked with lots of wine glasses. Perfect walkable location to the Ritz Carlton. Would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful summer vacation at this Tahoe location. The house was spacious and accommodating for our group of ten friends. We enjoyed easy access to the community pool and picturesque hiking trails. We walked up to the Ritz for evening cocktails two nights and enjoyed sitting out on their patio taking in the views and activities.
The only thing I'll mention is that it was particularly hot during our stay and because the unit does not have AC, the house was very difficult to cool down in the evenings. Even closing shades during the day and opening windows and doors in the evening didn't cool things down enough for comfortable sleeping. The house did have small fans in each room but there were no ceiling fans.
Besides the heat, we had a great stay.
We knew there was no AC - Main Room and especially the Mezzanine Level could have greatly benefitted with some ceiling fans to move the air. And because this is considered a high end property, expected the kitchen knives to be of better quality. We didn't cook but I did chop some veggies for a snack and the chef knife barely cut through. If it wasn't marketed as a "Luxury" property, I wouldn't have brought this point up.
Wonderful property for family groups. We were really impressed by the insulation—we were able to put kids to bed in the downstairs and there were no issues with adults still up on the main floor, and we never heard a peep from any neighbors. Extremely clean on arrival. Well appointed with no corners cut—we were able to make several full meals for the group and the large dining table and patio are great for entertaining. Hot tub is clean and functional, as was fire pit, which is often not the case with vacation rentals! Good parking—2 garage spots and 2-3 in the driveway. The only caveat was that there is no AC and the property gets quite hot through the afternoon. This was mostly manageable by opening doors and windows.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is stunning -- high end finishes. The kitchen is well appointed with most everything you should need. Great proximity to the rec center, which was a plus for the kids. The on-site jacuzzi was a big plus as well. My only recommendation to the owner is to install an AC. The way the floor plan is laid out and with very few windows that open, the main and upper floors get uncomfortably warm. We made do with lots of fans and opened the front and back doors to get a cross breeze in the evening, but the upper level never really cooled down. Beyond that, the unit is perfect.
We had a magical time staying here! Everything was absolutely to perfection. The house was spotless and the staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. The ski-in/sky-out was absolutely amazing.
Beautiful home and comfortable accommodations! That being said, one major reason that we chose this property was because of the resort amenities and they were not all available for use. Our boys used the basketball court every day, which was great, however, the pool was limited to one reservation per stay and the Tree house and fitness center were completely closed during our entire stay. That was extremely disappointing.
Also, during this time, rules regarding additional towels being used and additional paper products being used should probably be adjusted. I had to wash towels multiple times because we had to use the same towels for showers, hot tub and the pool (when we were allowed to use it). Thankful that the laundry soap was provided! We were also limited on the number of paper products we were supposed to use. Local stores had limited supplies and only large quanties that were very expensive. In my opinion, with the amount that we paid for the property rental, we should not have had to worry about an additional charge for toilet paper and paper towels beyond the products that were left out for use.
We understand that Covid is creating unusual
circumstances that we are all trying to navigate as safely as possible. A small refund for not having full access to resort amenities, as well as being a little more lenient regarding consumables and linens, might be worth considering until things get back to normal.
Overall, it was a lovely stay and these observations are just meant to be constructive.
Thanks for sharing your vacation rental with us! We would definitely return!
Great place to stay for a large group. Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is fantastic when you have a lot of adult couples. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Top notch appliances; comfortable living; great place for our family of eight! Loved the ease of ski-in-ski-out; concierge and property contact very helpful and attentive; short story....we’ll be back!
We really enjoyed the property. Snow was a little bit of an issue as had not snowed in awhile and was warm but made for good spring like skiing. We were still able to ski in and out but the run next to the condo lacked snow and was technically closed. If the ski in/out is not viable there is a personal shuttle that will come around and take you to the top of the Ritz gondola - which is a great option.
This house has it all. We had a great time with easy access to Northstar mountain resort and the lovely town of Truckee. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful home! Terrific family week gathering for
Christmas! 🎄. Ski in ski out was picture perfect! We loved the kitchen and cooked every meal together. Very well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed the wine bar, fire pit and hot tub! Great attention to detail! Thank you for sharing!
Unique experience after having stayed in Tahoe hundreds of times. Hope to stay here again!

Wonderful property for entertaining and great sunny view. Additional room with pullout couch beyond the 4 bedrooms listed made it easy to host 4 couples and kids. High-End finishes, kitchen and bathrooms. Easy ski in/ski out access once you figured out the Home Run trail splits to an access route (this was not on lease directions and if you don't go that way you are in for a hike). Take the Home Run access route that splits off from Home Run on the right to residence. Great cooking kitchen and common area. Excellent for entertaining. Only downside was that the jacuzzi top was literally about 150 pounds and could barely be taken off let alone put back on. Request that the management set it aside for you beforehand. Very nice stay. Only negative management experience was that the key was initially not in the lockbox at the property when we arrived. Additionally, we could not get in touch with the property manager when we tried to adjust our checkout time at the end of our stay.

House is in a prime location for ski in and out, when snow permits. House is well equipped. Could use a few minor updates, but overall very comfortable and we'd for sure come back again. Tahoe Exclusive also very easy to work with.

The Trailside house is amazing with wonderful views from the main floor deck. The open living space is great for a large group. We loved the quick walk to the pool and community room as well. Having three rooms for couples and a bunk room worked great for three families. The outdoor furniture was the only low point because they were plastic adirondack chairs with some broken ones. Luckily we had brought talegating chairs for the lake that worked well. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay. Too bad the Ritz gondola to the Northstar village has such limited hours during the summer. The management team was very professional and responsive also.
