The village has a local shop and post office, pub, and large garden centre with pet, greengrocer, gift shops and cafes, all within a short 10 minute stroll. Perranporth, 2.5 miles away, has a sandy beach popular with families and a number of cafes, restaurants, pubs, a small supermarket and surf hire shop. The cathedral city of Truro and the bustling seaside town of Newquay are approximately a 15 minute drive respectively and this is an ideal location for touring the county. There are riding stables and a golf course also nearby. Whilst each property has its own outside space, the owners encourage visitors to make full use of all the grounds for recreational purposes where there is an enclosed paddock to exercise dogs. Stay - The Accommodation...This detached and double glazed cottage is set within approximately four acres of tranquil grounds and wooded areas that make up Croft Cottages. Offering a peaceful holiday setting, the single-storey family friendly accommodation is entirely on the level and is approached by a short winding driveway through the mature trees to a gravel parking area with a gently sloping path up to the entrance. The front door opens into a main hallway, and to one side a door leads through to a light and airy living room with a cosy wood burning stove and a comfortable lounge suite set by the sliding patio doors. At the rear of the living room there is a dining area with views across to the neighbouring meadow and an adjacent doorway leads into a well equipped fitted kitchen with a window overlooking the woodland area. There are two good sized bedrooms enjoying views over the surrounding garden, a kingsize double with an en-suite bathroom W.C. with small hand basin and shower over the bath and a bedroom with twin beds. There are electric wall heaters in both bedrooms. To complete the accommodation, leading off the hallway is a family bathroom W.C. with hand basin, bath and separate shower cubicle. To the rear of the property is a small lawned area and to the front there is a private garden with a small level lawn, flower and shrub borders and an adjoining patio with a brick built barbecue for the sole use of Hazel Croft. Having booked your holiday the Agent Cornish Traditional Cottages will process and confirm your booking, the travel directions and arrival information will be sent to you. The travel directions will provide you with the details of the owner / housekeeper and instruction on who to contact a few days before your holiday to make the key arrangements. You will also be given the details of your point of contact should you have any questions or issues whilst on holiday.
