Wonderful experience

This property is amazing! A group of lifetime friends came to Tucson from around the country to celebrate our anniversary and it couldn’t have gone any better. Kristen and Chris were awesome hosts and they’ve thought of everything to make our stay a great experience. The pool area was beautiful and so much fun. Very nice casitas and main house. Will definitely stay again!

Loved the Ranch!

Our extended family group of 18 had so much fun staying at the beautiful ranch to celebrate my husband's birthday. Chris and Kristen took great care of us and we loved everything about the place - the spacious and comfortable ranch house, the lovely casitas, the game room, and our favorite, the pool. We had a sing along around the campfire that we'll remember for years to come. Thanks so much, Kristen and Chris!

Great Property

This was our 2nd year staying here and it was as excellent as we expected. Kristen, the host, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Several of us used the gym every morning and all of us enjoyed the firepit at the house at night. Beds were very comfortable as well. If you are going to Tucson, you need to book this property

Great time at wonderful resort!

Our family enjoyed our stay, The property manager was friendly and very accommodating, There was a lot of space and we enjoyed the bonfire, gym, trails and feeding the animals. The place was clean and they provided all of the necessary accessories.

Great Stay in Tucson

Our group of 14 friends and work associates really enjoyed our stay. It was nice having private rooms for everyone, the pool area was a fantastic gathering place with ample room for everyone. The owner was very responsive from time of booking through to the end of our stay, and while on site they checked in from time to time to see if we needed anything. Everything about our stay was very enjoyable.

Perfect for family reunion

We had the privilege of staying at Woodland Ranch over Labor Day weekend. Everything about our stay was perfection. The property itself is a magnificent oasis in the desert. Lush grounds, resort-like swimming and entertaining area, individual Casitas with beautiful decor, a workout room, and the most attentive and engaging hosts we have ever met.

Amazing!!

This property is beautiful and very well thought out. We traveled down with our baseball team for a tournament, and had the best time. Kristen is very friendly, helpful and just so kind. I highly recommend this property. there is plenty of room and the pool area is off the charts amazing!!

Best property on VRBO

Everything about our stay was wonderful, the property is absolutely beautiful! Our large family stayed for my dad’s 70th birthday and the accommodations were great. Everyone had their own rooms and then we gathered each day at the main house or pool. The pool area is soo beautiful, we spent most of our time there. Kristan and her husband were great hosts, they went above and beyond! We hope to be back next year for my mom’s 70th birthday!

Hamilton reunion

Kristen and Chris were great. The property was beautiful and very quiet. They live on the property and were available anytime we called. Our whole family enjoyed the ranch. They have horses & cows on the ranch ..It was close to Safeway and Costco. The pool was amazing.

Return visit

After our visit in September 2024, we knew this was the perfect place to return to celebrate the life of Boompa (grandpa.) Since our last visit 2 casitas and a game room (big hit with grandchildren) were added. Owners went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Having the whole property for our group made it so relaxing. The attention to detail and responsiveness of the owners was amazing. We enjoyed walking around the property, petting the mules and cows, working out in the gym, having comfortable casitas for everybody and there was a bonfire pit! We look forward to returning again.

Perfect Property For Large Groups

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We were a group of 12 professionals in town for a trade show. We found this property to be the perfect space for meals together but private spaces to rest. The pool area is amazing and the property is beautiful. The host is very responsive and generous in their communication and help! We will be back!

Perfect place for our CEO retreat

I traveled to this beautiful property with several colleagues as part of a CEO mastermind group. It was the perfect spot for our time away from the day-to-day hustle of our businesses. Around every corner there seemed to be another pleasant surprise - a perfect meeting spot around a campfire, a stable full of friendly animals, even a nearby walking path that led to a beautiful lake. There was plenty of space for us to come together to learn and share, as well as ample space to spread out when we needed quieter time for reflection and planning. The hosts were easy to communicate with from the time we booked until we all checked out and they made us feel truly welcomed. If you’re traveling with a group, especially one that enjoys spending time outdoors, I can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Excellent Property

Had a group of guys in town for a golf vacation. This property was perfect for our stay: i) everyone had a private bedroom and bath (beds were super comfortable), ii) main house was perfect gathering place for breakfast and dinner each night, iii) on-site fitness facility, iv) pool area was fantastic, v) really enjoyed the fire pits on the property for reliving the day's golf activities (Kristen, the host, provided ample firewood and extra seating for us). Highly recommend this property. We hope to use it again on our next golf trip to Tucson,

Class reunion

this is a great property! the owner/hostess was onsite and she was incredibly responsive. The pool area is fantastic, the big house is very nice and the casitas, while rustic, afford privacy and the basics needed, e.g. towels, coffee maker, mini fridge, etc. This is an ideal spot for a family reunion, small corporate retreats and similar events. Highly recommended! The neighborhood is also good for walks, lots of small ranches nearby.

Breathtaking

This place was beyond amazing. The pictures do no justice for how the property looks in person. We had our wedding reception here and the pool area had more than enough room to accommodate all 20 people and made for beautiful photos. Kristin was more than helpful and made us feel right at home. The horses and cows were just a short walk away and they were perfect for the kiddos to feed. Words can’t express how amazing the property was, would give this place 1000 stars if we could.

WOW

I really don't know what to say! This property is phenomenal! We have never stayed in anything like it. The property is gorgeous and so much fun for families. It was like we rented a whole resort. Kristen was amazing, so responsive and everything we could have needed was there. She has thought of everything. Location is great. Grocery store is so close as well as restaurants and you are at the base of Mount Lemmon which is a lot of fun to visit. We will be back for sure!

Amazing property and hosts

The ranch is beautiful and perfect for large or small groups. Kristen accomodated our work team retreat and went above and beyond, including receiving deliveries before we arrived, early check-ins, even s'more sticks and firewood! All the rooms are clean, comfortable, have fridges with drinks, and the bunk room is perfect for kids. The house is beautiful and roomy with so many places to conduct separate meetings or have space to just retreat to by yourself. The horses and other wildlife are the icing on the cake. The location is also very near a grocery store and restaurants. Overall a 5-star stay! Thank you, Kristen and family!

More Than You Can Imagine!

This property is stunning! I organized a retreat here and it was the perfect fit for our group. There was plenty of space and privacy for our 16 person group. Kristen is friendly, responsive, and accommodating! We had positive interactions with her spouse and the staff onsite who made us feel welcome. Our retreat participants felt safe and enjoyed exploring the property and nearby ranches. Our favorite part of the experience was visiting the cows and horses on site! Peaceful

We were there for our daughter’s wedding at Tanque Verde,(which is only about 15 minutes away) Not only is this ranch beautiful, it’s serene, and so peaceful. The calm we needed while stressing out about a wedding. It was not warm enough to use the pool, but we were able to catch some sun sitting around the pool area. Everyone enjoyed looking at the horse barn and the cows. Kristen and her husband went out of their way to make sure our family was more than accommodated while we were there. We can not thank them enough for making our Tucson experience the best!

The Perfect stay & Experience

😊My Son & Daughter In law booked the Ranch for my Grandson's College Graduation & it was perfect! Kristen & Chris were so gracious & accommodating, they have an Amazing property, from private casitas for the guests, wonderful entertaing areas around the pool, bonfires, fabulous BBQ, swim up bar at the pool, multiple places to enjoy around the property. The main house worked well for all of us to gather for breakfast, visiting or just hanging out together..... the property is totally beautiful, peaceful and Chris & Kristen have done so much with it!. Just when we thought things couldn't any better, they would surprise us with another feature. From planning, seamless check it, days enjoyed, this was a totally wonderful stay for our group of 12.
