"We stayed here to weather the storm with the power being out at home. Could not be more impressed with the accommodation here. We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. "We were very happy with our room. The bed was so comfortable , the layout was great. I loved that they had 2 chairs and a table in between to watch tv as well as have a tea and coffee with a little biscuit .Free bottled water . They also included little extras like manicure set, toothpicks, toiletries . Bedside tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. We loved our stay , as good as any big hotel. "Clean, spacious apartments. 1 minute walk and you are on the main street with shops, bars and restaurants. Basement car park easy to find and there is a lift up and down. "

"It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults.
Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked.
The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door)
We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink.

"Charlotte and Sean provided us with a great start to our trip to visit family throughout the West of Ireland. They were very welcoming and their B&B was a perfect location just outside of Carrick town center. Our room was warm and cozy. We also really enjoyed our breakfast each morning.
