In the service industry things can you wrong but it’s how you recover and make the customer 100% satisfied. The weather was very bad when we checked into Cielo. We were warmly greeted with hot coffee and tea before our room was ready. There were a couple of issues with our room as a result of the weather. Nobody’s fault. Hotel Cielo and management addressed the issue immediately and provided us options. The views from their loft are spectacular and I’m sure ona clear day, the views of the Andes are incredible. We would love to go back to Cielo on our next trip. Thank you Cielo team - your kindness was greatly appreciated

A piece of paradise!

We had an amazing stay at the hotel in January 2023. We stayed for 2 nights in one of the lofts where we could use our own fireplace and we woke up the a view prettier than a painting. Roberto and his team went beyond our service expectations. And don’t forgot the tasty breakfast! We hope that we will be back!

Hotel De Cielo is a wonderful property. At the foot of the Andes mountains it offers amazing views, My wife and I booked it because we were heading into the mountains the following day. We, however, were completely unprepared. We didn't have any food for the night because we had counted on finding something nearby. When we got to Hotel de Cielo we found that their kitchen was closed for lunch (their regularly scheduled day off). The staff quickly jumped into action and prepared us a meal and gave us a bottle of wine. It was awesome. Our accommodation was beautiful. The night sky was beautiful and we met several world travelers like ourselves and we had an interesting conversation around dinner. Exceptional place and people.

This property sits in this wonderful location with gorgeous view, but you need to drive good few kilo meters both ways in dirt road. Also only option for the dinner around the area is at the hotel. So be ready to eat at the hotel every night. Also even though it says they have laundry service but they will offer you to take your laundry to the town and finish it there so it is not very convenient, and their pool is also not cleaned so you may not be able to swim. But other than that, staff are super friendly, space is clean and sleek, view is breathtaking and fun to gather the table wit other travelers, we enjoyed our stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the view! Amazing views of the mountains and it’s a very tranquil setting. However, it’s very secluded and it’s not very close to many things. You definitely need to rent a car if you stay here and want to do things off the property. The staff was friendly but it was hard to communicate with them. We speak some Spanish and we stayed at several hotels during our trip to Argentina and this was the only hotel that we had the most challenge with communication and the language barrier. The communal “family dinners” each night were a really nice experience and the food was great! The main building of the hotel property was nicely designed but it felt like the guest houses/rooms were unfinished. Our room had some exposed power outlet wires and stuff. The rooms were also not very clean. There were ants on our floor because it seemed that crumbs from the previous guests weren’t vacuumed. It felt like they might be understaffed or maybe just don’t pay attention to the small details that make a difference.

Great view, nice people, but some issues

The location offers a spectacular view of the Andes. At night, the stars are bright. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is modest, but perfectly fine. Dinners are prepared expertly on the Argentine grill, and provide a communal spirit among the guests. But being in the middle of nature comes with certain challenges. Depending on the direction one comes from, the last 15km or 30km are unlit gravel roads. This can be dangerous if you arrive at night, it happens to be raining, you rented an underpowered car, or a combination of all of these. The property is only a few years old, but it is already showing its age due to the harshness of the local conditions. In our case, the shower went unpredictably from cold to hot to cold again. Only the rainshower worked, not the handshower. Drainage was slow. Other arriving guests were waiting to see whether they could get another room or they would be leaving, because of worse plumbing issues. There were other minor issues. For example, a defective skylight curtain in the bedroom could have easily been fixed professionally in less than an hour. Instead, the curtain was fixed with a cable tie. As a result, the skylight providing a view of the stars from the bed was useless. These issues notwithstanding, we had a great time. For the nightly price, however, we normally expect a greater attention to details.

Un hotel para influencers . Lodge con poco mantenimiento. Staff poco preparado y un servicio que deja mucho que desear. El lugar es muy lindo con vistas preciosas, pero necesitan personal y calidad de servicio. La cena con chef fue espectacular!!

O lugar é lindo, porém chegando lá, não tem almoço no hotel de segunda-feira, obrigando a sair para almoçar, pegamos quarto com banheira, mas devido ao frio não era possível utilizar a banheira pois o aquecedor solar não suportava encher.

A experiência no hotel foi muito boa, a equipe presta um atendimento excelente, porém o hotel tem alguns pontos de melhoria, como por exemplo, ter uma tv no quarto, o frigobar não fica abastecido o que pra um local totalmente isolado faz falta, um serviço de quarto também seria adequado. Senti falta também de atividades.

Decepcionante

Tínhamos uma expectativa muito alta e ficamos decepcionados. Nosso voo cancelou em Buenos Aires e atrasamos para chegar ao hotel, fomos recebidos por um menino muito atencioso e gentil, até aí estava tudo ótimo! Mas no outro dia nosso quarto ficou sem água. Passamos a noite toda sem chuveiro, descarga no vaso, nada. E não fizeram nada para resolver no dia, no outro dia pela manhã com insistência minha cederam outro quarto para que tomássemos banho. Mas nem um pedido de desculpas foi feito! Não voltaremos.

Péssima experiência

O lugar onde fica o hotel é incrível e isolado, e as acomodações são boas, nada excepcional. Porém o hotel não tem estrutura para enfrentar algum infortuito! Tive uma experiência péssima, na qual a acomodação começou a pegar fogo devido a um curto circuito, tive que mudar de quarto durante a madrugada a -5 graus, o hotel não tinha outra acomodação para me realocar nos dias seguintes e não prestou nenhuma assistência procurando outro hotel e não reembolsou o valor da estadia! Ficamos completamente desamparados em um lugar distante de tudo!

A equipe de atendimento e o local são excelentes. A vista incrível. As roupas de cama e toalhas eram muito boas. Cama bastante confortável. Entretanto, tivemos muitos contratempos. Não sei se são corriqueiros ou se apenas tivemos azar. Passamos 3 noites e tivemos que frequentar 4 quartos. O primeiro quarto era o nosso original. Chegamos em um dia de muita chuva e ele tinha goteiras em cima da cama e na cozinha. Após a chuva, a equipe, que era muito atenciosa, resolveu tudo e, até então, ficou tudo bem. Quando acordamos, a bomba de água queimou e precisamos tomar banho em outro quarto. Quando viram que não tinha conserto, nós trocaram de quarto. O quarto era melhor e ficamos felizes, entretanto, na segunda noite choveu e o quarto também tinha goteiras. Quando acordamos, estávamos sem energia. Fomos tomar café e nos avisaram que a energia tinha voltado, mas a água não. Então nós disponibilizaram um outro quarto, para que pudéssemos tomar banho e fazer o checkout. Como disse, a equipe sempre foi incrível e atenciosa, mas não tivemos muita sorte com o local. No Brasil, chamamos de “Perrengue Chique”. Acho que é a palavra que mais definiu nossos dias lá.

Primeiro ponto: o acesso para o hotel é péssimo, 20 km de pedra e areia, sem sinalização e iluminação. O hotel é bem distante, em um local ainda se desenvolvendo. Dito isso, achei o hotel e o staff sem preparo. Chegamos 18h para o check-in (que inicia as 15h). Se você está de carro eles pedem para seguir um carro que eles tem e assim você chega no quarto. Ninguém se quer te ajuda a carregar as malas. Ao chegar no quarto, cortina quebrada, retiraram o frigobar, não tinha cápsula de café, banheiro com resquícios de sujeira, nem um sabonete na pia para lavar as mãos... Qdo enviei mensagem sobre o citado acima, me responderam que o frigobar estava para reparo, que iriam levar as cápsulas de café e que a cortina não dava para resolver pq não tinha ninguém para o serviço (no último dia conversei sobre o que estava acontecendo com uma moça diferenciada e ela resolveu em 20 minutos no nosso último dia). A cozinha não tem suporte, pouquissima opção. Achei o atendimento péssimo. O jeito de responder os clientes, de olhar... em nenhum momento aquela sensação de bem-vindo ou de hóspede mesmo aconteceu. No dia do check-out era um sábado, chegamos 8h da manhã e qdo pedimos o café da manhã eles simplesmente responderam que só iniciava a partir das 9h pq ainda não tinha suprimentos. Enfim... O que tem de bom no hotel: apenas a paisagem. Apenas isso! Todo o resto ainda tem muito que mudar.
