"The location was spot on, quiet and tranquil but there are areas the location could improve on. We where in lodge 2 and the path from the car parking leading up to the lodge could be an issue in the dark with the garden retaining wall called across it partially blocking the clear access"

"Fantastic house, used all four bedrooms, each had huge double beds, and the heating in the ceiling was amazing, you can set the temp in each room. Large fridge, dishwasher, and enough plates, glasses etc to suit 8 people. The combustion heater was used in effect with the heaters more so for the romantic effect.wildlife apleanty, and right next to Hayes wines and Langmeil which are killerOnly down side was the BBQ was a little small as most of our food was perpared on this.Cant wait to return."

"We had a fantastic stay at Tanunda House. The house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay in the Barossa.This is a premium property which is a genuinely accurate description of the finishes, appliances and accommodation. A great base for exploring the Barossa, particularly for a group or family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"Sophia was a dream host. We loved the privacy of the room and the communal breakfasts with other guests were so fun. Sophia made us feel so comfortable traveling with our toddler. It was such a special part of our trip to stay at Barossa House"

"The Louise is a destination in itself with it's scenic outlook and all-inclusiveness. Everything from breakfast, your mini-bar (everyday), afternoon appetisers, pre-drinks (including cocktails and top shelf spirits) then decadent four-course dinners with matching wines are included. Every night (in winter) turn down service included herbal night teas and hot water bottles left in the bed. Had we been here in summer, we would of made use of the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards. Being our first time in The Barossa we chose to use it as our "hub" to explore the many wineries from - including Tscharke which is literally across the road. The Underground Wine Tasting is something else and if you get the chance - I recommend you do this tour organised by the hotel. You will always feel like you have special attention given there are only 15 lodges available here but truly - the staff go above and beyond to cater and attend to your every whim (and sometimes get you out of a pickle). From making sure the day lounge was made into a bed for one of us snorers to retreat to at night - to helping us find last minute transportation when our uber did not show up to take us back to the airport, we were grateful for the wonderful staff. A special mention to Darcy, Maddie, Ian, Pi, Esther and Deborah. You have left us with special memories and we thank you!"
