Drive up to your 15-acre oasis with expansive desert views nestled in your own personal boulders and a luxurious interior with the high-end finishes. The spacious interior will comfortably sleep upwards of 10 people including a custom chefs kitchen, cozy living room area with 85 inch smart TV and large bedrooms. Watch the sunset from the front deck, outdoor kitchen and dining area, and relax by the pool or fire pit

The Space:
★ Black Star Oasis is the perfect place to gather, unwind and recharge. From the large kitchen with its massive island to the inviting couches in front of the 85 inch 8K television that features DirecTV, there is plenty of room to form memories which you will never forget.

★ Each bathroom features a large, spacious shower and anti-fog lighted mirrors. The beds are made for sleeping away your cares and the outdoor seated areas are the perfect place to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee (Nespresso Vertuo pods) or watch it disappear with a glass of wine.

★ Hike the hills on the 15 acre property or head just 10 minutes down the road to Joshua Tree National Park. With a pair of binoculars you can see the entrance from the front porch.

★ If cooking is your thing, do it in the fully-equipped chef's kitchen on the gas range inside, or head out the French doors to the outdoor kitchen where you can cook, eat, and dine while enjoying the elements, the stars, and the desert breeze.

★ At Black Star Oasis we also have curated a number of photos of African American and Native American's who helped shape the wild west. Learn about Nat Love, Bill Pickett, Stage Coach Mary and others that we have chosen to honor in and around the house.

Guest Access:
The entire 15 acre property is yours for a private desert getaway. You will be given a custom code for access to the full property as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please note that the French double doors are under maintenance and cannot be used.
Supply Closet is not accessible for guests

Hot Tub rules:
To protect your own health and safety and the integrity of tub and linens, all guests must shower before and after using hot tub.
No pets of any kind or size in hot tub.
Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight. Please do not stand or sit on spa cover.

The Neighborhood:
Black Star Oasis feels a world away from civilizations but you are a close 10 minute drive to the back entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and 5 minutes to food and groceries.

Getting Around:
Black Star Oasis is only accessible by car down a mile long dirt road. It is positioned perfectly for the private escape that you are looking for.

Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: Dirt roads, no low riding cars
Fenced yard: Not fully fenced
Cell phone coverage: Yes cellphone coverage
Outdoor surveillance: In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a exterior cameras located in front of the house.

◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat.

◦ RULES:
Noise ordinance:
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine.

◦ SMOKING POLICY
No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees

◦ Restricted Areas:
Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.

◦ Hot Tub/Pool:
Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.
Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.
No drinking in the hot tub, please.
Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.
Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.

◦ Photoshoots & Video:
No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.

IMPORTANT RULES for HOT TUB and POOL
POOL & SPA SERVICE - The hot tub and pool is serviced every Monday and Thursday by our maintenance pool guy who will access the backyard and be in and out quickly. Usually guests don’t even notice him, but just a heads up in case you see him servicing the spa and pool area.

To protect your own health, safety, and the integrity of tub and linens, and to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of our facilities all guests must shower before and after using hot tub and pool.
● Proper Hygiene is important. We kindly request all guests to shower, and avoid using bodily oils, lotions, or other products that can affect water quality in the spa. Failure to do so may result in the accumulation of dirt, debris, and contaminants in the water, which can compromise the overall experience for all users.
● Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
● Proper swim attire is required in the pool and spa. Street clothes and denim are not permitted.
● Diving is not allowed in the pool or spa.
● For the safety and comfort of all guests, no pets of any kind or size, including dogs, are not allowed in the pool and spa area.
● Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub and pool. The consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited in the pool and spa area.
● Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area to prevent accidents.
● No Food, or eating or drinking (except water) is not permitted in the pool.
● Running or rough play is not permitted in the pool area to prevent accidents.
● Please do not stand or sit on hot tub or pool cover.
● Please heat the hot tub with cover on and avoid the urge to add hot water from the stove, it will damage the hot tub
● No Floatation Devices. Large floatation devices, rafts, or toys that may obstruct others are not allowed in the pool.
● Do not leave personal belongings unattended in the pool and hot tub area.
● No Splashing. Do not splash water outside the spa to maintain a safe walking surface.
● No Jumping. Jumping into or out of the spa and pool is prohibited.
● Please leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight.


Please be advised that if the condition of the hot tub and pool is left in poor conditions due to guests not rinsing their body and feet, an additional fee may be charged for excessive dirtiness. This fee will cover the cost of the necessary cleaning and maintenance required to restore the hot tub and pool to its optimal condition.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests. By adhering to this requirement, we can ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the benefits of our hot tub and pool facilities.

EVENTS
Please be aware that parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited in this house. We prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests, as well as our neighbors. We kindly request that you respect this policy during your stay. Failure to do so, will result in a $500 fine for guests.

PET POLICY
We allow pets with extra fee of $100 per pet. We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner's severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding!

EARLY CHECK IN and LATE CHECK OUT
◦ Authorized early check-in and late check-out are available at $50 per hour

* Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee

LEFT ITEMS
◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address
