"Angela was very quick to respond to any of my questions. First impression was that Michigan needs to fix their roads. We loved the location and it was the perfect size for our 4 families. It was a log cabin, on a hill, over looking Spider Lake. The cabin was very clean. Being families with small children we wanted to cook most of our meals rather than eating out. We appreciated the that there plenty of cooking pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, silverware and a dish washer. We loved having a big deck and big table on the deck, eating many meals on the deck. There was a volleyball court that we didn't use, however we did use the swings and slide. Walking down the hill there was a beach with sand the young ones enjoyed playing in. A couple even ventured in to the lake even though it was cold being early in the year. There were a few times we were unable to get the lock to unlock, I believe it mostly operator error, happened to me also. The 4 year old seemed to have the most success. Watching her she very deliberate and patient. I had no issues once I slowed down and was patient. Over all it was a great week and I would return if the need arises."

"Overall we had a good stay. This was definitely a property that would be better for summer. It took a long time for cabins to heat up but it was a snowstorm when we got there. Some of the furniture had a lot of loose screws that need some attention. Beds were definitely not queens in any of the cabins. Hot tub was great. Lots of dishes and pots and pans which was great for 3 families. All in all a good stay and we all thought this would be great in the fall/summer months. "

"We visited this property over NYE and it was absolutely wonderful. There were 10 guests total and plenty of room to spread out. The home was very clean, spacious, and in a perfect location, close to Elk Rapids and Traverse City. Owners were very responsive to our calls/text messages, and everything was great. We would absolutely book again! "

"We just loved the cozy feel of this place. So many little extras made it feel just like home, they provided everything you could need and then some. They even had a welcome sign with our names on it welcoming us. The hot tub was private and clean, and perfect for a chilly Sunday morning with coffee. We saw deer in the field behind the house and it was so peaceful. Our dogs loved it too. We would definitely come again."
